  1. No! Don't "like" it, it's crap.....
  2. All my flying time wasted sorting out someone else's bugs. Finally realised you cannot paint a turd, and that the bugs need professional fumigation while it's in that Recycle Bin thingy. #worsttwentyfivebucksspentthisyear
  3. That first picture is almost a photo. Really nice.
  4. HB-XLA Heliswiss, Zermatt in the distance.
  5. You need to be an "existing customer" to download that CS2, according to the sign-in page.
  6. +1 to Gimp, plus Gimp is also free. Worth bearing in mind you don't have to go for the latest and greatest. I recently picked up a copy of Photoshop Elements 7 off ebay for $20, a fraction of what Elements 11 would cost. Going for the latest version doesn't necessarily make sense if you're not going to use it to its full potential.
  7. I think this is my favourite. "Couldn't find anything bigger, huh?"
  8. Ramzess's xp9 and xp10 one http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=9251 Gary Hunter's xp8 version, which you could update via PM, but no guarantee all will work properly http://my-planes.com/freeware/An-225/An-225.html and another xp8 version by derWaldfuerst http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=2147 And there are a few 225 CSL models (not flyable). Search "Antonov" at the org.
  9. Just curious, what Gamma setting have you got in Rendering?
  10. I've given up giving a toss trying to save people from being ripped off when the licence they paid for gets ripped up. Don't give a shit about this "different camp crap" either. That wasn't the point. Go buy P3D. Like I care.
  11. I think I read Tom's post correctly - he's suggesting something along the lines of Orbx, but just not as colourful. XP's default scenery's colours are closer to real world than the brightness that is Orbx's offering, but the basic mesh of XP-land is awful. Something in the middle would be great - a better mesh sort of like Orbx, but with the dulled-down colours of xp. That's what I think he's suggesting. I like the idea.
  12. back atcha.
  13. me neither...... just got to clean the drool off the keyboard.
  14. I'm just waiting for the day when all the fools who bought P3D under false pretences suddenly have their licences withdrawn..... btw it's being marketed as a commercial simulator, for use with FSX, for professional pilots and student pilots only. Everyone else, purchase at your own risk. Like the clouds John. Your work's getting better and better.
  15. Yes, whatever you do don't paint the word "republic" on it. Here's the original BD-5J and paint scheme from Octopussy.
  16. As far as I know, Aubrey only sells via the org so if it's not there, then it doesn't exist. As for wildly moving, have you gone into Operations & Warnings and set Number of Flight Models to at least 2 or 3?
  17. John82088, Redfisher's right. Whenever this 737 comes out, you will want to purchase it regardless of what else is out at the time. It is so groundbreaking, it is THE one aircraft you will want on your computer. It's going to put everything else in the shade. Unless you don't own a copy of xplane, I can think of no logical reason not to buy it. I don't have xp10 (yet), but that 737 is on my order list regardless.
  18. Someone clearly needs to see a psychiatrist.....
  19. Travesty if not coming with this livery....
  20. Aubrey Dawson's Virtavia S61's not out yet. Guessing T50's beta-testing it. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=63731&page=5
  21. Viz the aviation greenery side, I'm sure I've read somewhere that one airline at least is using biofuels. Correction, found lots already are, which could be the future:... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aviation_biofuel I just find it ironic that a well-and-truly barbecued Tesla S is probably more toxic to the environment than a normal car it's meant to be greener than.
  22. eaglewing, It's funny you mentioned the Tesla S fiasco - Elon Musk has today been appointed the UK's sustainable fuel advisor to the government. That's about as logical as asking Wile E Coyote to be the official advisor on catching RoadRunners.
