Was just flying the F27 tonight with a friend who fly's 777's for a living....and he thought it was great!!! I cant wait to buy and fly the ATR !!!!! I voted for the Me 109 "G" but would be just as happy to get a Bf 109 E4 Tropical variant. Still, whatever is chosen will be fine with me....but do we really need another P-51? what about a '51 B or C variant....very few are modeled in flight sims....I think FSX has one but thats about it as far as I know. Having seen the ideas on the other topic I would love to see either the MiG 29 Fulcrum or the BAe Hawk. I thought about the Sukhoi series of modern jets but then remembered Barry Ledger covers those. I use full photoshop (ver 7 really....havent upgraded to CS4 etc.....). Layers are you friend!!! They are great as you can assign diofferent versions of a paint job to different layers and then flick through them to which one you like. THe best thing is that since they are seperate layers you wont affect the layers below or above! Slainte. Andy - I love photoshop!!!! NZCH

I have downloaded all of DDens freeware stuff from the org and the quality of that prompted me to buy the goose once it came out....havent looked back yet. I have managed to find "some" nice planes on the org but thats about it. An update came out for the goose, now I have a turbo goose to try out!!!!! Slainte, Andy NZCH

Was looking at the org thismorning (its something I do while I am waking up.....), and I noticed in the shout box that a few are rather dismayed at it....going so far as to recommend downloading the XPFW 747 and giving it a new livery! As long as we have this forum and can direct others to it to see what is really possible then I have no worries about the other org. Now, whats happenning about that NZCH scenery.......Theo? As long as it is accurate then I dont mind waiting. Besides, a 747 200 has just been released for payware on the "other" org thismorning.... I too was saving up to pay the full price, but with our first born getting here in 2 weeks money was needed elsewhere. Speaking of Military jets is or has anyone done a decent version of the A4K (the one with the hump on the back....)? I remember there being a freeware version on the org but nothing worth having in my hangar. Anyways, just wondering.... slainte, Andy NZCH

Hi Matthew, I think what the mighty Captain is trying to say is that the dedicated FS developers are seeing that FSX is no longer being supported by MS and as such the development of FS has "died". There will still be developers creating content for FS for years to come, but when a developer that "only" developed addons for FS starts to develop addons for another flight sim, in this case XPlane, then its safe to say that FS is dying. In a way I am glad to have the developers of FS start to see XP as a serious alternative to flight simming, we might even see more scenery come out for XP as well I havent used FS since I installed XPlane 7....and that has been a few years now, and I dont forsee myself going back to FS anytime soon either. I enjoyed FS2004 but the scenery addons were killing my system (FS uses BGL files which are basically .BMP files...very large and messy....), so I made the decision to try the demo of XP7. The rest as they say is history. Thats my take and I could be wrong Slainte, Andy NZCH

What can one say about a quality texture like that?.....apart from the usual "hurry up!" "Get on with it!!" "Stop stuffing around!!!!" Awesome dude.
