Hi Pete, this plane is just getting better and better.....as to autopilot, I would leave it out. I fly (simulated that is....), mostly LSA and GA planes that have either no auto or very basic autopilots in them....and even then I dont use them as the trim controls (if installed on the plane Im flying), work just fine. The other planes I fly are all equipped with very useful radio nav systems (the F-27 comes to mind straight away....). All the other planes I fly, mostly the payware ones like the Dash 8, have FMC's which I can set using either vroute or Goodway. I guess what I am trying to say is.....an autopilot in a beaver isnt flying in the "spirit" of the beaver. They flew fine without them for many years, why would they fly any better with them? Your right, the need for the smaller twins is something I havent seen in the payware lineup, there is the free version on the .org but I wouldnt hold my breath on that one giving you what you want. I would love to see the Cessna come out as we have, as said before, the piper range (which I have and am thinking of upgrading to the latest version soon), and the Dutchess.....but nothing from the Cessna camp. Hi Orion, man you do love them heavies!!!! Last heavy I flew was the x737 before everything got weird with the plugins. I mainly fly regional props and small GA planes.....but have been getting into the LSA's at the moment, even bought X-Hangars Sonex!!!! I followed the link you provided to the forum about the Dornier....great to hear it is still a work in progress....the interior matches th eexterioir it will ge a great wee plane, might even get it for my hangar (I am going to be very broke next year with all the addons should they come out then!!!!!). Have you seen the payware Dash 8 Q400? I have it and its fantastic!!!!! Worth looking at if you are ever going to fly the regional props Slainte, Andy NZCH

Will there be a coffee holder? My PC has one, I just push the eject button and there it is I was watching the video posted here earlier and noticed that Harrison was flying hands free for some of the flight.....that must be one stable bird with excellent trim abilities!!!! Hey Pete, wanna know something really funny? That paint scheme in the render is the same paint scheme I did for a guy who has an RC Beaver. If you make that colour a little more red you will have the paint scheme for Sir Edmund Hillary, who used one on his Antarctic Expedition in 1953 (?). The colour is called International Orange (in the US) or Chrome Scarlet (in the UK). I can provide a link to the plane if you wish......might even have some piccies of it in restoration mode back in 2008. But I digress.....these renders are fabulous, the detail is fantastic and you mention there will be even more!!!! I cant wait for this one to come out Slainte, Andy NZCH

Looks like you had some real fun Steven. I too have these planes and completely forgot about what a joy the C195 is to fly. I still cant land the "Crash 8" properly yet.....something about me coming in too quickly and not enough runway or something. The Mu scares me because it so delicate to fly.....all that checking and re-checking and beore you know it your overspeed and way past the airfield you were supposed to land at!!!! Hi ksgy, I have your AN-2 and fly it when I can and time permits, she is both a pleasure and a pain to fly.....took me 3 attempts to get her started!!!! I would love to donate something to you once she is finished as I feel it is the right thing to do, and I to have a love of 3d modelling, just cant program at all thus no planes coming from me at this stage.
