Thanks for the update. Just one problem. I dont get any clouds at all (only Cirrus Layers) with using FSGRW or downloading weather with X-Plane. Tried to resinstall SkyMaxx 3.3.1 Reset the settings RWC settings are Automatic (Have tried always also, but same issue) And I have unchecked Never Change Visible Weahter. The only way I can get some coulds are when I "set weather uniformly for the whole world" and RWC set to automatic. Log.txt

Thanks for your tips. I dont use keyboard bindings. Have deleted most of them. Also tried on a default airport, but same behaviour. With IXEG and a default X-Plane aircraft. With P3D the braking is smooth as butter, so I really want to find out why this is happening to X-plane. I could understand if everyone had this issue, but when you dont have it should be possible to find a solution to it.

Randomly enable the built-in IXEG failures - LUA script
Tom Stian replied to Tom Stian's topic in General Discussion
I have no idea if anyone is using this script. But have made a minor update with som tweaks. I have for sure made my flights a bit more interesting. For some days ago I did leave X-Plane for 10 min during a flight. When I came back I found the plane spinning around due to a engine fire. The flight ended here -
No problem here installing SkyMaxx 3.3. Did you unzip the file you downloaded before you was trying to install it ?

I have no experience flying a real aircraft, so I cant compare how they are too the real thing. It would be interesting to know how much force you have to use on the rudder pedals on the real B733. My previous rudder pedals was the CH Pro Pedals. They was ok back then, but havent been using them for many years. So before I got the MFG Crosswind rudder pedals I was using my joystick for the rudders, by twisting. The MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals looks like a beast. I had to wait 2 months to get them. When they arrived I had to assemble them. Was pretty easy with the video they provided. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX2cPKJ6yeo The MFG pedals dont use any potentiometers, but using contactless magnetic sensors. A problem I had with my CH Pro Pedals was that over time I got a lot of spikes, so they almost got useless for me. With the MFG pedals you wont get that. So they should last for much longer (i hope). The pedals feels very smooth to use. You dont have to use any additional force to push them out of center position. Its possible to adjust the center postion force by buying additional centering "CAM" profiles. (Check out the homepage) Im very happy with my new pedals. After some more testing I will do some adjustments. I know for sure that I will adjust the angle of the pedals. So it will be easier for me to use the brakes. I also want to mount the pedals to something to make them a bit more stable.

Did test without any plugins now. But the result was the same. Below 10kts the brakes get super efficient. even with only 0.1 brakes. So I wonder what you have done too your x-plane to have smooth braking below 10kts
-
I have the same issue with a other aircraft. So its either a X-Plane issue or a plugin that are messing it up. Will try without any plugins tomorrow. Cheers.
-
Can confirm that parking brake was not set or used.
-
On my video you can easily see that below 10kts the aircraft is braking very hard. You can see the dataref for the brakes on the top left corner.

Hello Check out this topic
-
Did get my MFG Crosswind pedals yesterday. The first I noticed was the toe brake sensetivity. Braking at low speeds is like hitting a wall very hard or impossible to brake smooth. Will do some more testing today with monitoring dataref for braking etc.

I did have a flight with 7 turnarounds for a couple of weeks ago. And one of the turnarounds the reset dident work. I dont know why, maybe just random. But im sure it can be optimized. And maybe add a reset-option on the FMC.

Hi all. Finally my MFG Crosswind rudder pedals have arrived (http://mfg.simundza.com/products) Gonna pick them up after work today. Veeery excited to try them with the 733. Anyone else that have them and tried them with the IXEG 733 ? Any tips on setup etc I should know about ?
-
Hmm.. maybe you are right. I belived it would work out of the box with any aircraft first time I read about this. But maybe they changed it ?
-
That will come with XP 10.50 I havent tested it. But it should work with IXEG 733. http://developer.x-plane.com/2016/05/new-manipulators-and-the-mouse-wheel/

I also have perfomance issues with SkyMaxx Pro with RWC. So after using default clouds for a while I decided yesterday to reinstall SkyMaxx Pro 3.2.2. I did not have any issues with default clouds. But after 2h I got a big FPS drop again. Reloading SkyMaxx solved this instantly. (by going to settngs and just adjust the cload area coverage by 1 sq km or so and apply settings) I dont remember exact how much VRAM I had left. But it was at least +1GB. Having GTX980TI 6GB. Sadly I have to disable SkyMaxx again until this is solved. But let me know if there is anything I should test etc.

Some logs are needed. Check my post from earlier.

Hello. Not available yet. It will come.

The crossfeed valve is either closed or open. So you open it by turning the crossfeed selector to the left. Have you selected ADF on the RMI also ? Remember that NDB's have limited range. (littlebit overkill on the image size)

If you get a Gizmo soft crash (the white box), the rest of the aircrafts system can be unstable or not work at all. So if a FMC operation results in a gizmo soft crash it can make the MCP fail to work as intended. The best thing is to reboot gizmo after a crash and start all over. (And report the errors in the support forum) I would like to see what you are doing to get the gizmo soft crash on every take off. Make a video from where you start programming the FMC (perf, route etc) and til the crash. Maybe we can help you

I enjoying the aircraft alot (with many others). I agree that the VNAV is not optimal. But what is wrong with the MCP ?

Randomly enable the built-in IXEG failures - LUA script
Tom Stian replied to Tom Stian's topic in General Discussion
Did some longer testing now. Yesterday I had a failure after about 10 hours. And today I got one after 47 minutes. This is with setting FailurePercent set to 10. -
Well.. I dont know if it is clear. But I get it. But hope IXEG will make the same behaviour of using datarefs for both hydraulic systems (A and B )
-
Have some other troubles with the failures datarefs. Im not able to set ixeg/733/failures/hydraulics/systemB_slowLeak. If I try it will result in a "blowout". It works via the failure menu, but not with setting the dataref. If I try to set ixeg/733/failures/hydraulics/systemB_blowout it will result in systemA blowout. It works via the failure menu, but not with setting the dataref. So it is some failures setting the failures on systemB ixeg/733/failures/hydraulics/systemA_slowLeak and ixeg/733/failures/hydraulics/systemA_blowout is OK. EDP A and B Slow Leak im unable to find the datarefs for.

Randomly enable the built-in IXEG failures - LUA script
Tom Stian replied to Tom Stian's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for trying the script. You could just be luck(unlucky) that a failure dident trigger. One additional condition that needs to be meet are PLANE_ICAO == "B733" You can check that out if you select Plugins->FlyWithLua Macros-> Enter a line of code On the red line just enter PLANE_ICAO . You dont need to hit enter. It should show your current PLANE_ICAO. For next version, I will have a short message that says if the script are loaded/enabled. But will look into it to see if I did miss something. Thanks again for your time.
