Hi,
Yes the AFM M20 is becoming the TorqueSim M20. There will be an upgrade process, as it is being entirely redone, but it will be reasonable and well worth it. More to share on this, including detailed features and screenshots, in the new year.
It looks like the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ Redistributable is missing. You can install it following the guide here:
Steps to resolve plugins not loading (Error Code = 126)
For seeing where the C172 G500 is installed, its in the X-Plane 11/Aircraft/X-Aviation/Cessna 172SP G500/plugins
For filing, which aircraft is this, and what should the upper end of the white tape be? If you have a picture of the gauge itself that would be more than sufficient
This looks like the Windows audio system got unselected, it should be a quick fix: https://support.torquesim.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500004632641-How-to-fix-OpenGPWS-Audio-System-Audio-Init-Crash
Not via a config file, there is an Adobe Illustrator texture file that can be adjusted. If you let me know the speed tape ranges, I can get one adjusted for you.
You should just be able to run the installer on the second computer. If you are out of computers, it will ask which computer you want to deactivate (each X-A account can have 3 computers tied at the same time)
This seems like something anomalous is configured besides the engines on these. That TN performance seems like something is going wrong there. The plane maker sliders would be irrelevant as we have a custom engine model. I'd recommend performing engine maintenance through the SR22TN menu (SR22TN in the top X-Plane menu bar -> Toggle Aircraft Window -> Maintenance tab). I'd also recommend checking to see if the TN is loaded excessively, that can be done on the Load Manager tab on the SR22 Aircraft window (not the X-Plane default interface, unless FSE Override mode is turned on).
Hi Rudder, we haven't heard either of these issues reported before nor can I replicate them, so I'm guessing there is something conflicting on your system. Can you send the log.txt file? You can find a guide to get this file here:
How to find the X-Plane log.txt file?
Hi Mahlon,
We don't have custom pitch trim, so the default commands should certainly work, assuming that the electrical system is on and the pitch servo circuit breaker wasn't accidentally popped.
Hi, I just loaded up to double check, and I can't replicate that behavior on my end.
Are you using the G5 in the 3D cockpit of an aircraft (if so, which one) or are you using the popups?
Are you using clicking or the scroll wheel to a adjust the knob?
The maintenance would be performed automatically with the inspection, if it finds anything. In this case, there was nothing found during the inspection (no Engine or System entries), so nothing was needed to be performed.
Hi, It looks like the Gizmo64 plugin isn't running, which is necessary for activation. Re-run the installer and that should install Gizmo and prompt for your X-Aviation credentials.
It looks like the SR20 isn't being activated because the Gizmo64 plugin isn't in the X-Plane 11/resources/plugins directory. I'm guessing this might have been inadvertently removed? Re-running the installer will grab the latest version of Gizmo to install for you.
Most likely the engine is either:
Being flooded - make sure to use 3 seconds of boost maximum
Not primed - make sure to run the boost pump for ~2 seconds.
Not enough/too much throttle - make sure the throttle is set to 1/4" in-sim when starting, as that is around where the proper ratios are reached for starting. Feel free to slowly oscillate the throttle up and down slightly to see if it would catch. The 1/4" mark could be at a different spot on your hardware throttle if it doesn't have the same throw as the real throttle.
