  1. How come Mercedes doesn't sell Chevrolet?
  2. Yes, the new GNS430 will be in the Citation.
  3. A LOT! Three doesn't even represent 1% of the Saab users.
  4. We do not allow modifications to the aircraft since doing so could potentially create problems when providing support. As stated previously, if a significant number of customers complain about this we will discuss it further internally.
  5. It's not just moisture that can make the light visible. Since you (and sizziano) are the only ones who have mentioned this to date, we will not make any changes just yet. If more people voice a negative opinion about this we will discuss it further.
  6. What you are seeing is the "cone" portion of the light. The clipping of the cone is done internally in X-Plane and out of our control. The only thing we could do is eliminate the cone altogether. Incidentally, if you move your view further to the side or behind the aircraft, the beam looks the way it should:)
  7. I don't see any problems in that screenshot. What exactly looks so strange to you?
  8. No. The problem is that the "slots" that your equipment is assigned to could possibly change with every sim session, and if they do we have no way of knowing. So, you need to re-assign them each time.
  9. There is no way to "save" the assignments of the Condition Levers so we cannot provide this feature. Any previous discussions of this that are marked as "SOLVED" just means the question was answered. I don't believe we ever stated that this would be changed in a future update as there is really no way to do it.
  10. You guys really need to read the entire thread… the answers are available…see post #16 from Ben Supnik.
  11. Those errors are related to scenery and should not be causing the problem you are experiencing. You NEED to "attach" the ENTIRE Log.txt file in this thread and maybe then we can see what is going on.
  12. Can't be done. And… the ID may change with every sim session and/or change of aircraft.

    GNS430

Jorik, This would not be a good idea. There are many interactions (radio frequencies, nav path, etc.) that would not work or, worse yet, cause conflicts with the current systems.
  14. I believe you are referring to the Flight Advisory Speed... SAAB 340A_01.pdf
  15. I'm not sure if this is an issue or not. Please clarify your statements… You said that the fuel temp gets to +06 and NEVER changes, correct ? Are you sure? The temp doesn't even change after you descend and land ?
  16. Here are 2 pages form the AOM that should help... SAAB 340A_CL-PL2.pdf SAAB 340A_CL-PL1.pdf
  17. What plane are you talking about, exactly?

  19. Please send an e-mall to Cameron here.
  20. The "FLAPS" annunciator on the central warning panel is there to indicate if there is a malfunction in the flap electrical control system. We are simulating the aircraft as accurately as possible so we will not be adding an annunciator to tell you that you have deployed the flaps too early as the GPWS system already does this. The STBY PITOT annunciator will come on to indicate that there is no power (for heating) to the standby pitot tube. So, if the switch is in the OFF position you will have no power to the pitot tube and therefore the annunciator will light up. There is a friction factor in determining fuel temperature. Therefore the fuel temp ail not match the air temp as you ascend because as airspeed increases the friction factor increases. The battery temp will be rather steady unless you do a battery start which should increase battery temperature significantly. I have not seen this behavior but will look into it. The wind vector is inoperative on the ground. This is not simulated. I believe there is a difference in the flight model of the military version. I will have Goran confirm this. Thanks for your feedback and questions. I am glad you're enjoying the aircraft.
  21. We have been testing the Saab with the Private Beta of 10.3 and so far everything seems to be working as expected. Therefore, you should have no problems when 10.3 is released. Any serious bugs that are found after the 10.3 release will be dealt with immediately.
  22. X-Plane's scenery is not automatically updated when changes are made to OSM. Laminar has to grab those changes, update the scenery (not simple), and then recut the DSFs. This has not been done since XP10 was initially released. Ben is fully aware that OSM has changed and has stated that they will be updating the scenery in the future (no set date). They have many changes/bug fixes/etc. to deal with. Patience is a virtue. You can read more about this at Ben's blog here.
  23. Jack, Yes the information you have provided is a help…and, in fact, I now recognize this as a previously reported problem (see here). As you can see this has been fixed and will be part of the next update.
  24. Also, Did you buy the aircraft recently? If not, make sure you have the latest version.
