Jason, Can I ask what your reasoning for wanting this would be? Just curious, as the Javelin has the FMS as is. True, but the FMS doesn't have near the functionality as the Garmin 430. The FMS relies on localizers, and I prefer to fly by the 430. (I use it in real life) Plus, how often do you see a private plane with an FMS? I much prefer the dual GPS stack. Also, it shouldn't be that hard to implement into the Javelin, as the object has already been made. Just personal preference all in all.

YAY! Are you going to copy that in the Javelin as well? :
  3. Sorry I can't answer any of your other questions, but to import and place 3D objects, you need to get overlay editor, and once you have the object created, put it in a library in your custom scenery folder, and open it up in overlay editor. This page may be useful: http://wiki.x-plane.com/Anatomy_of_the_X-Plane_Scenery_System
  4. VFR ILS? Is that even legal? I think you may be a bit mistaken, VFR means Visual Flight Rules, to land in VFR you use a circuit, and you don't make use of ILS systems to land. A localizer maybe, but not a fully fledged ILS approach. Now to make a full ILS approach, you should be IFR, which stands for instrument flight rules, in this case, you don't use outside references. In the IFR situation, you use an ILS (Localizer and Glideslope) to land. As for selecting the runway approaches, do what Samen said, select 3NM for a VFR approach, and 10NM if you're doing an IFR ILS approach.
  5. Actually Javier, that right now is my only option. It seems Nicolas didn't want it on the .org, so right now it's offline. Do you have any of your own webspace to upload it to?
  6. Looks like I'll be releasing a bit early! I finished it, and Thanks to Javier's revolutionary lit texture template, I was able to get the lit textures fairly easily. (I had a hard time adjusting the exposure of the decals) Download: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=8744 Thanks and enjoy! -Jason
  7. Hey guys! I saw that the Sea Max only had two liveries so I decided to take a shot at one. I will probably have it ready to download here by tomorrow night. Here is the new download link to the file!: http://www.x-aviation.com/landing.php?cid=2e7c3735713e51633c3449497b Thanks for making it happen Cameron! Here are some screenshots: (This is a fictional livery, it is based on my flying school) By madjason12 at 2009-08-01 By madjason12 at 2009-08-01
  8. Thanks Javier! Glad to know some of the bugs will be fixed. For the joystick thing, I push the button once, and I HEAR the landing gear go up, but when I look, they are open, and then I push landing gear again, and they come up. It's not a big deal though, I can live with pushing a button once more.
  9. Sorry to post so much, but I have found 2 more minor issues. The first: You have to push the landing gear button twice when mapped on a joystick. (Or key) The second: One of the tire covers seems to be very "chunky" as if Javier didn't set it smooth. This is only present on one of the covers, it's nice and smooth on the other. http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/8003/screenshot1z.jpg Again, sorry to bother! -Jason
  10. Just bought the plane! It's amazing! Roomy interior! Just one thing, if you look at the prop, you can see the rotating black prop image, but there is also the default one overlapping it, and it's not centered on the prop. Try it out for yourself and see. Is this a bug?
  11. Im buying this plane STAT! On a sidenote, the pontoon by the green nav-light is glowing red. Why is this? Great plane! - Jason
  12. Well, I don't want to get too far ahead of my (your) self, but I'm going to send a quick email to see if morning star can let me take some pictures. Apparently the private jet owners don't take too kindly to "strangers" looking at their planes. :-\
  13. Oh, my mistake! I guess my instructor provided some "false" information. : The plane over here is a Hawker 900XP, just one model lower than the 4000. And the "lip" I was referring to can be seen here. http://images2.jetphotos.net/img/1/3/4/7/93442_1232211743.jpg Sorry for the misunderstanding. Back to the real topic!
  14. Hmm, I thought he DIDN'T (I'm not yelling) know any body with a Hawker. My mistake. On a second note, it's not a 450XP that I saw. ??? My instructor told me it was a 4000, but the owner's site says they don't have a 4000. Plus, this plane has a strange "lip" or "keel" on the bottom of it. I can't seem to find any info or pictures. Goran, since you've probably been through allot of info/pictures with the Hawker, did you recall ever seeing a small "lip" or some sort right underneath the wingbox? I noticed the one parked on the Apron had the lip, it stretched about 3 meters, starting from the trailing edge of the wing, and ending half-way down the wingbox. EDIT: It also had a bunch of probes sticking out, maybe 7 or 9 probes. I'm guessing sensors, met devices etc. Thanks!
  15. I just noticed a Hawker 450XP on the Apron at city centre airport. If you would like, I could link you to Morning Star's page (Aircraft operator's company) with some details on the plane's interior.

Simply beautiful! I also really like the prop design.
  17. WOW! Forum speeds are insane! I appreciate you guys putting in the new server.
  18. That's insane! At first I thought it would just be juggling, but the fact that he can keep in tune with the music, and make it all look so effortless is amazing!
  19. Nova, Just curious here. Did you use my N109XX livery for your Lufthansa paint? N109XX is almost completely white. But I made N109XX with the included paint-kit. And for anyone else, I have made two liveries for this plane. N109XX Fictional - http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=7640 Air Canada Fictional - http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=7941
  20. Nice work. Just one thing, on the back of the wingbox joining the fuse, there looks like there's a kermingle (No other word to explain it) of poly's that make it look unclean. Is that to be fixed? -Jason
  21. So this is really just another thief! I knew something was fishy about XP9 videos! Dammit go home Rafael!
  22. http://www.embraercommercialjets.com/english/content/ejets/emb_195.asp http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embraer_E-Jets http://www.smartcockpit.com/search Here are three great sites I found that should give you a fair bit of information! On the smartcockpit one, search embraer 195, and you should get allot of info on the flight systems of the E-190. Good luck! - Jason
  23. That's spectacular! I love the job you did on the wings!
  24. Let's not get rowdy XP Videos. Any news as to what's going to happen with Rafael? :-\
  25. Well, I'm glad things have finally turned around. Hopefully we can put all of this in the past. Theo and Goran, I look forward to the Hawker! The progress is outstanding! -Jason
