  1. Why did you do that? It's an installer file. You don't drag anything, but rather launch the installer and let it do the work for you just as the update instructions state to do.
  2. Sounds like you didn't update over an old version of the aircraft. The update requires that you update an already installed aircraft, not from scratch.
  3. Markus is correct. The fix was for the gap between the panel and windscreen.
  4. Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.1 update for the Cessna 152. 5. Should be fine. 9.45 is the lowest version of X-Plane Peter supports.

  8. And while this is true, and considering Peter has yet to produce a 3D cockpit for any of his products (not saying it's good or bad), this still doesn't negate Paraffin's remarks. Nope, sure didn't. I asked you a question, you answered your thoughts, I thanked you for chiming in.
  9. When someone comes out to say they bought a model and did the best they could personally do to reduce the complexity of the model (note that Peter has mentioned doing this himself in the past when it comes to the A380, including animations) as mentioned by Kesomir above, I certainly don't interpret this to be working with anyone. Odd that you would. Thanks for pitching in your $0.02 anyhow.
  10. Not sure about this one. Peter has always been quite upfront about the situation, partially because of the explanation for the very high poly count with the model itself. The explanation from Peter that I recall is the exact same that Kesomir has posted above your post.
  11. And that's exactly my question to you. From where did you hear Mr. Hager is teamed up with a modeler? This is far from what I have interpreted based on the many reports the model was purchased. Perhaps you have never heard of sites similar to TurboSquid? I'm not insinuating this is the place of purchase for Peter, however, I do question where you may be getting complete opposite information of what already three other people in this thread have heard.
  12. Can you share where you have received this information? All other readings I have done indicate the model is purchased.
  13. Hello, All, Leading Edge Simulations and X-Aviation are proud to announce the upcoming release of the Beechcraft Duchess! This aircraft has been under wraps for some time, keeping the developers busy for a surprise release, which will come very soon now! The aircraft will come in two liveries, which also include two different panel colorations according to the specific aircraft itself. Enjoy the screenshots!

  15. For various security reasons (both for our own and yours), we won't be doing something like this, especially anytime soon if we were to even consider. Our reasons are our own, but for a user, it's simply the point, as you've stated, that we don't wish for a user to have a constant connection to our server. We'd get slammed for such a tactic. We have a similar system in place. Not to a T, but similar. We are doing our best to minimize any potential hassle to a customer, and to move from one key to three without having to contact us is further leeway already. More announcements will be made in time.

  17. Hi, there, Yes, this can be done in WED, which you can find here: http://scenery.x-plane.com/beta.php
  18. Hi, Jerry, The sale ended on August 2nd. The reported price of $24.95 on the site is correct.
  19. No. Read the topic before posting, please.
  20. Hey, Kesomir, Have you checked out Komodo Edit?
  21. A few of us are just settling back in at the office after a long week at Oshkosh. The 152 update is one of our priorities this week, but we need a bit of time to set up shop and re-organize again. Soon!
  22. Hi, Wolfgang, First off, Thank You for being a customer and purchasing our products. Sales happen everywhere, and are necessary every now and again to stimulate. Other times it's used for anniversaries or holidays. Here in the states it's known that if you shop on days like after Christmas or Thanksgiving, you will get massive discounts on retail products. It's just another way to keep in business and garner new customers who may be on the edge of initially supporting the cause. As Goran has said, we don't really anticipate when or how we'll do sales. This is the first sale ever that has included the MU-2...a whole 1.5 years after its release! So while we want to give deals to new customers every now and again, we also don't guarantee sales will take place quickly after or during a release either. From a customer perspective as someone who paid full price for quite a few add-ons like yourself, just remember that the continued support is what keeps us in business and providing you the products you enjoy to this day. Our time is honestly better spent producing the product than putting out a demo at the moment. There's a ton of development that has gone into these new products, and major changes taking place in order to be able to even provide them to you as customers. The logistics of adding in new features like we have and figuring out secure shipping methods to thousands of people downloading up to 50GB of data at a time is no small task, and something we are taking care in before we go live. The point is, we want the experience to be smooth for everyone. Thanks again, Wolfgang. Your continued support is much appreciated!
  23. Thanks to everyone who took advantage of the sale! Enjoy your new purchases!
  24. I agree with that statement.
