  1. And another...
  2. I'm not Javier.
  3. Just a quick shot to hold you over.
  4. Probably not. I'll still get it out tonight.
  5. Some exciting stuff coming along with this manual preparation. I'm off to take a small break for a late dinner, but when I get back shortly I'll be back at it! I won't be going to bed tonight until this manual set is released. Stay tuned! C
  6. As stated, time zone is EST. Javier may live in Spain, but I don't. I am the one putting them online. Back later.
  7. I've been reading in a few places about this, and have noticed there are a few misinterpreted items from the implementation of the new embedded FMC. The vasFMC embedding was done for the CRJ. While the core of vasFMC and this small tidbit of code is/will be public domain, the CRJ is still unique in it's FMC functionality to the true aircraft. I have read in various places that some assume the FMC provided with the CRJ will simply be a straight shoot of the vasFMC as it stands (which is based on the Airbus FMC). Such is not truly the case, and, of course, such code and other information used to make the FMC unique will not be shared with the public. So, while vasFMC certainly will become an option to many developers, it's not going to be a simple swap process, and aside from that fact, if left at default functionality it will not be true to the aircraft without the developers' hard work to alter the information and how it's passed around into the FMC itself. You'll need to get comfy with C.
  8. Quick update: Manuals will be going online today (April 23rd, 2011) USA EST. I will post another update here when such has happened. When these manuals are released, it is encouraged that you download and read through them. There is a lot to digest and understand about this product, as it's no walk in the park to operate. It will be imperative that you learn the procedures outlined in the manuals in order for this aircraft to work. Coming soon! 20 of 24 hours uptime here work wise...time for some sleep! See you in the skies....soon!
  9. Should be "stated." Your comments state otherwise unless it is good feedback. I stand by my statement about criticism. You're doing a good job of demonstrating my point clearly at the moment. Maybe you should read more some time. First looks vs reviews. Time of night, and reasonings for a post. It would probably help you out. Birds. Their songs travel near and far. I think you just contradicted yourself though. You just tried to tell me you didn't push a request, but then suggested if I know such things I must be "pulling the string." For one you're wrong, but again, you're helping to prove my point... I think you meant simply. Anyhow, I find their first look pretty fair. Pretty well written compared to most reviews I find in a magazine at that. Great. Have pride. People don't agree with you.
  10. It's rather bold. I don't agree with much of it. Seems rather silly to me of you to question a persons integrity after requesting them so feverishly to review your product. Comes with the territory. Welcome to payware. This arena is not for you if you cannot handle criticism. And? Clearly irrelevant in the flight model department.
  11. I think you meant to say "not" satisfied with...as in you're a happy camper. That said, you must know a secret. There's been some debate on the flight model front thus far. http://xplane10.wordpress.com/2011/04/22/fly-j-sim-dash-8-q400-a-quick-look-around-and-some-first-impressions/
  12. Rest assured we're all pulling ridiculous hours to get this done. There's slightly more than the installers and webpage to do, but it's all irrelevant in the end. You'll know when it's out. We'll make it pretty hard to miss.
  13. Consumer interest.
  14. Reserved for baby Teo (baby Javier)! ;D
  15. Considering Bombardier assists with such an install, I'm not sure how pilots have much to do with anything.
  16. Go! (Mesa) most certainly DID remove the seats and have the extra tanks installed. Saw it with my own eyes inside of the aircraft on multiple occasions.
  17. The seats are actually removed and fuel tanks are placed internally to accomplish the longer delivery flights. Go! (Mesa) did this with their CRJ's headed to Hawaii.
  18. Last I heard from Javier, he had a rather extravagant vacation planned. He's pretty excited about it, as you can see: God speed, Javier! You are one cool cat!
  19. Works fine here. Need a fast connection for 1080p though.
  20. Topic can be continued here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=2014.0
  21. Hi, All, A new video has been released for the CRJ. This video is more of a celebration that the final approach is underway, and we've been cleared to land. Right now we are going through the final checklists and working on webpages, installers, and tests. No final date announced, but I can tell you it will be VERY soon, so get ready and save those pennies! :-p As usual, we'll be back here to let you know when the product hits the shelves. In the meantime, enjoy this celebration of completion like we are!
