  1. Hi, Tom, Nothing crazy sticks out in the log provided. If you have the crash_log.txt that would be useful. As your on a Mac, OS X will also spit out a log that you can copy and past in the box that tells you the application crashed. My first place to start assessing this would be to have you put the texture resolution on the lowest possible setting. I realize things look ugly here, but this is a way to test if we're hitting a VRAM issue.
  2. There are manuals included with respects to its implementation in our aircraft. The flight tutorial is the most intuitive. They are located in: X-Plane/Aircraft/X-Aviation/CRJ-200/Manual
  3. I've just come back from a sim session troubleshooting this. Everything appears fine on this end!
  4. Should be the same as always! Are you trying to intercept the nav line and it's not capturing?
  5. Tom, Do you still have a previous version of the CRJ that did work available on your computer in installer form? With version 1.4.2...please do this: 1. Open X-Plane 2. Open the CRJ 3. Close X-Plane 4. Re-Open X-Plane On step four did you see the displays on for ANY period of time?
  6. Hi, Jer, I apologize if you feel "aged setup" was meant in a bad way (really just a fact of life with computers these days). I'm a heavy Mac user as well, and also had a very similar card to yours in my MacBook Pro. Needless to say, the CRJ would not work. To be more than frank with you, I'm quite surprised your dual core computer with only 256MB of vram can handle XP 10 with this add-on so well. We'll wait for Philipp to chime in here and see if he can figure out the culprit.
  7. Hi, Jer, Did you by chance ever try and run the hardware tester prior to purchasing? This sounds like a relatively aged setup. http://www.x-aviatio...og/crj_test.php
  8. Hi, Jer, What operating system is this on? This really sounds as though you have an install that's gone entirely wrong. Can you please: 1. Open X-Plane 2. Load up the CRJ 3. Exit X-Plane 4. Post the log.txt file here located in your main X-Plane directory
  9. Relax, guys. You're playing with a language barrier and good intended humor. Yoshiod, I assume your situation is the same to that of VR's second post?
  10. Perhaps if you had given such a descriptive example the first time around you wouldn't have received such a "huh?" reaction. Your first explanation can easily be assumed as purposeful invalid entry pasting. The current section of forum you are seeking support in has 5,800+ responses. This comment here holds little merit. Thank you for the detailed response, sans sarcasm.
  11. You're attempting to paste an invalid entry? Why?
  12. Duggy is a pretty well maintained, and that's the look we're after with this specific livery. See the following links: http://www.mnwarren.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Aviation_020.jpg http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2543/3797181502_1363acd5ba_z.jpg
  13. Hi, Tom, Just to add to this conversation, more info on why 285.62 Nvidia driver shouldn't be used for XP is here: http://developer.x-plane.com/2011/12/an-awesome-nvidia-artifact/
  14. Totally okay, Dennis. The attempt to help is much appreciated. The rest of X-Pilot is open for free-standing convo! Hope to continue to see you around here!
  15. Dennis, Again, these support forums for the CRJ are related to X-Aviation. X-Plane.org and X-Aviation do not handle activations in the same way.
  16. I'll try this out in a moment, but may I ask what the point of pressing LSK so many times is?
  17. Very odd. I've only personally had this problem in XP10, and it was solved with the NVidia driver update + some fixes from Supnik which was later released in a new version of 10. We may have to wait for Philipp to help diagnose this one. He's intermittently away for the week, but he'll get to it when he can. Your log, your activation info on this end, and your description of what's happening when you load the CRJ with blank screens from the start all point to an issue that is NOT activation related. I'm not sure if there are some pieces of old drivers that should be deleted that aren't actually getting so, or what. Very odd indeed.
  18. The CRJ is a relatively quick aircraft to throw down. They CAN throw some punch in reverse mode. As described in the manual, auto reverse will not deploy on every touch down (be sure that it's activated to begin with). It will ONLY deploy on what it determines are hard enough landing to justify that what you're hitting is really intended as ground. If you grease it...chances are you're going to need to manually deploy.
  19. Tom, When you load up the sim are the displays blank immediately, or do they shut off after some time?
  20. Hi, Dennis, Thanks for updating the thread. You're more than welcome here at the X-Pilot forums, just keep in mind this CRJ section is for X-Aviation.com customers only!
  21. Hi, There, Please post your log.txt after opening the CRJ.
  22. Hi, Tom, As we troubleshoot this further it would be appreciated if you could install the demo version of XP 9 to your computer and try this out. Since we cannot duplicate your issue on this end, the more info we can get from you the better.
