Take Command! CRJ-200 Version 1.5.1 Update Released!
Cameron replied to Cameron's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
This is not a CRJ feature. We don't document it because we don't code it...Laminar Research does. It applies to ALL planes in X-Plane. We have absolutely not one thing to do with view controls in X-Plane. -

I'm really not clear on what you mean. Press 'Shift' and the '9' keys together and then use your mouse and right click held down while moving the mouse to move the angle/head of the camera. -
[SOLVED] Engines shuts down after some minutes
Cameron replied to birdy.dma's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
The only time this would happen is if your doing max thrust without limitation in the FMC, which then causes engine issues. These warnings would be displayed in red on the displays. Activation has nothing to do with any part of the engines at all. -

I'm sorry, I don't quite follow what you are saying. Can you please elaborate so we may better assist you? -
Hi, Folks, Update 1.5.1 has been released to fix crashing issues when the CRJ is the first loaded aircraft by default within X-Plane. Instructions on how to update, as well as what else is included in this topic here from version 1.5.0's update yesterday:

Is this site affiliated with the .org or .org store?
Cameron replied to Big T's topic in General Discussion
I think it's quite clear Big T is not looking for hassles. If you're confused by this, re-read post #3. I guess it just strikes home a bit harder since you're a part of the org moderation team, and seemingly stuck in similar situations as you've suggested to Big T if you know such outcomes. Probably best we not further get into that here, though. You and I still have some unfinished business to soon settle from a certain blog website. I've got plans for a proper platform for that. -

Welcome to X-Pilot, Big T! Quite sad that you even have to make such a recommendation, Joe. Quite the hassle, too. -

Did you mean to say "no" problem, or are you still having an issue of sorts? -

Take Command! CRJ-200 Version 1.5 Update Released!

I still have a sneaking suspicion this is permissions related. Please follow the below instructions: 1. Download the attached zip file and decompress it 2. Move the file "corrector.sh" to your installer folder. This is the same folder where "setup-osx" is located. 3. Open the application called 'Terminal' and type: cd 4. Press space bar 5. Now drag the folder that your installer is located in onto the terminal application window 6. Press enter 7. Now copy, paste, and press enter with the following: ./corrector.sh After doing the above re-run the installer. corrector.zip -
Take Command! CRJ-200 Version 1.5 Update Released!
Cameron replied to Cameron's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
Hi, Markus, What happens? Does the icon simply bounce in the dock and then quits? I have seen this a few times on 10.6 systems and know the fix. It is permissions related. -
Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.5 update for the Take Command! CRJ-200. All customers who have purchased the CRJ-200 up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete installation instructions on how to update your product. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the CRJ-200 from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.5 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains the CRJ-200 purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "Take Command!: CRJ-200". The new installer will detect whether this is a new install, or if you already have any CRJ-200 version installed. Depending on your current situation, the installer will run through the appropriate paths with you, including uninstalling all unnecessary items from the previous version! Your liveries/downloaded paints will be safe in this process! There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: -Re-worked cockpit windows to render correctly in X-Plane 10.10 HDR -Re-worked lighting to look better in X-Plane 10.10 HDR -Tuned engine start to work correctly in X-Plane 10.10 -Tuned EGT and oil pressure for X-Plane 10.10 -Added ability to fuel and de-fuel via the FMC, to work around fuel distribution idiosyncrasies of X-Plane -Re-worked remote CDU to integrate seamlessly with the New iPad and Retina Resolution (graphics by Andreas Guecklhorn) -Fixed a crash-to-desktop when selecting approaches for subsequent flights of a turnaround -Improved calculation of course-to-intercept waypoints -Fixed issue where non-GPU modification version of aircraft would not activate NOTE: If you don't like the fixed iPad-resolution of the new remote CDU, you can find the old version in plugins/CRJAvionics/Resources/docroot_old/. As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.

That doesn't just happen. You have something more going on since registration is rooted into the aircraft programming. Please post your log.txt file and a screenshot of your DC3 folder as well as of your scripts folder within the DC3 folder.

America has been "cashless" for years now, Edwin. You guys are just now getting around to where we were in ~2004. During that time we could use a credit card or debit card at even a drive thru fast food chain, though the use of debit carried an extra fee up to $0.99. This has since changed to no fee, and debit cards are now run as "credit" to avoid PIN number entering. I travel quite often each year to various countries, European especially. It's incredible how many fewer places I can use a card over there than I can here, which ultimately leads to me not giving said business a sale. I don't like carrying around cash and would rather allow my bank to give me their convenient exchange rate via debit card than get royally taken by the exchange agencies at the airports, etc. I don't understand the comment you made about American businesses usually being the ones to not accept debit cards. Given I don't carry around cash, I don't pay by credit card, and always use my debit card for both online and offline shopping, I have NEVER run into the scenario you speak of.
-
I can't think of a single debit card I have which does not allow me at LEAST 60 days to fix things up. I still have credit cards, but do not use them for anything, and now pay "cash" for everything via a debit card. I have claimed and won issues of services not rendered as well as stolen debit card activity any time this has taken place over the last 10 years.
-
Edwin, From a merchant point of view a credit card and debit card are the same thing. If it's got a Visa or Mastercard logo on it, it's valid for use through a credit card processor. As such, your debit card is "good" at Carenado.com.

I cannot speak for Dennis, but the CRJ-200 is approved via contracts. I assume the same would be there for the Challenger. -
Once an IP is connected it should say so within sim. Do you get this confirmation? If so, that is all there is to it. If you don't get this confirmation then you may be entering in local network ip info and not actual gateway info.
