  1. Hi, Tim, We won't be changing anything based on the first two requests. We're simply working within limitation of software of choice for that. Sorry. We'll consider your third request.
  2. This makes zero sense at all. It's always been there, 1.0 included.
  3. Ya, looks like 1.0 to me too!
  4. Stu, I think step 1 here is going to require you to fly a flight without a SASL enabled plugin aircraft just to see if that's where we need to be looking. Please fly your same routing with a default aircraft. Thus far none of us have been able to duplicate this, and no other customers are writing in such complaints, so this seems pretty isolated at the moment and we're going to need all the help we can get from you.
  5. Hey, AJ, Yes, just run the installer once more!
  6. Hey, AJ, Happy to see you took the plunge and that you're satisfied with the results!
  7. Just tested again. Works fine. If you're just trying to go to exterior view and zoom out as far as you can, it won't always work. It's based on relative location of the aircraft, which is really all that matters here.
  8. Can you please post your log.txt file in your X-Plane folder?
  9. 1. Go to your X-Plane/X-Aviation folder and run the uninstaller 2. Run the X-Plane update utility that Laminar ships to restore default clouds
  10. Please take the time to read the existing threads about 1.3.
  11. Well, for one, you didn't list your computer specs. UrbanMaxx uses normal mapping which can cost a bit if you don't have a faster setup. Nothing crazy, though.
  12. It should definitely not be in your resources/plugins folder! SASL is not programmed to be a global plugin.

    Thanks, John!

That's exactly why the manual exists as a free download on the product page, as well as in your install.
  15. We will of course look into it more, though I make no promises. As it stands, for me and many others, SkyMaxx Pro is already such a huge enhancement over default. Improving things is natural. I'd say the jump from 1.0 to 1.1 was quite significant, and we're already cooking up some amazing features for 1.2. Thanks, we think so too. True, but not entirely true. There's more to it than this, and we're pretty intimate with how it works in default in order to create this add-on. As it stands, we need not continue to keep the repetition going in this thread, guys. As John has indicated already, it's been noted for review, so unless you have something NEW to add to this thread aside from a listed suggestion, please refrain from saying the same thing that was already posted before you. This isn't a bug, it's a feature request.
  16. These things are only for you to determine. I can't judge you here, and won't. You as well! Blue (or cloudy) skies, sir!
  17. Yes, it does. It only looks different as it does it, simply because the rendering method for each is different. We're not making this up guys. I've seen it plenty with my own eyes.
  18. Not a single one. Wish I could say yes so that I could assist you further on this one!
  19. In other words...learn to do a manual start up and all will be well.
  20. Quite likely you are crossing a DSF boundary and because you have real weather enabled this is the source. Not much we can do here on that one for the time being. X-Plane clouds would re-load and essentially do the same here as well (except instead of fade, they would be more abrupt).
  21. We have nothing to do this this, actually, as we are not a weather injection plugin and these settings are not written to in any form or fashion. Yes, sounds like the switch is causing constant change for you, which means pauses. Perhaps an X-Plane prefs dump is in order for you, or another weather plug-in is interfering (NOAA or similar?).
  22. Great! Let us know how you like it, AJ.
  23. Sorry, but I'm not sure we'll support this. As it stands SkyMaxx DOES save a settings file for you to prevent you from having to keep doing this. If you are using additional third party software like this which somehow manipulates this feature (even if on accident), I'm not sure what to say. Perhaps you should not use them for SkyMaxx.
  24. What do you mean by reload the plugins?
