Hi Mat28, Welcome to X-Pilot! I think this post may be in the wrong section of the forums. I assume the Flight School downloads are a part of some product you have purchased? Maybe tell us a little more so we can help you out a little better.

Yes, that's correct! There are more recent topics on this that go a bit more in depth however. Laminar's assistance and changes to the sim itself are required.

At this point in time we have nothing to offer. When we do we'll be sure to announce such. SkyMaxx Pro has been a heavily supported product, and for all intents and purposes, we have worked to always solve issues within our control. We are either working on it or it is not something we can currently work on without Laminar's additions if things go silent on the radar.

You may want to contact Laminar about that. Thus far they have only acknowledged any such issue with Nvidia from what I can recall.

Both spellings are valid. North Americans typically use the form with 'z' while other countries use 's'.

Not to the level seen in screenshots, no. Atmospheric scattering takes some special rendering tricks to achieve, and thus is only available with HDR. The next best thing for you would be limited to sky colors that trick the eye, or even some kind of a plugin not currently available to alter things on the horizon.

I understand that you're having a hard time seeing what I'm saying. That said, it does not change the answer I have already given, and it should be good enough for you to understand that while we appreciate the suggestion(s), we have had lengthy talks with Laminar over time, explored many options, and are awaiting more. Until then, expect no crazy changes in this scenario.

It would also be a brilliant way to kill frame rates. Again, when Laminar has solutions ready, we're ready.

There are plenty of topics in this forum regarding this. Part of it is a limitation of X-Plane and plug-in use in a scenario like this. The short and skinny: It is what it is until we get better access to things we need from Laminar.

Question regarding Display Control Panel Layout

This aircraft is obviously not equipped or intended to be used with an FMC. As the displays and functionality are all custom coded and drawn to mimic the real 'A' variant aircraft without aftermarket additions, no type of GPS/FMC integration is present. You can certainly try XFMC, but we do not and cannot provide support for anything other than how this product is intended to work when sold and installed.
