Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.2 update for the Take Command! Saab 340A. All customers who have purchased the Saab 340A up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete instructions on how to obtain your update. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the Saab 340A from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.2 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains the Saab 340A purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "Take Command!: Saab 340A". NOTE: IF YOU HAVE THE SAAB CURRENTLY INSTALLED DO NOT UNINSTALL IT! THE NEW INSTALLER WILL SCAN AND UPDATE YOUR FILES! There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. Sorry to make you answer that twice Pete. You clearly answered the question in the past. I think it's just so long in the making and various decision changes over time that it was easy to forget. Congrats on the release! I hope it does well for you and brings even more people over to X-Plane.

Sounds to me like you have some folder permission issues on your computer. It's a one and done process, minus a six month license check, so that's two times per year.

Interesting. Would love to hear Pete's reasoning on this. Surely this could have all been done in C given his knowledge. Or did you scrap the C approach all together, Pete?

I believe Pete made mention through development he's using his own framework in C.

Edwin, I'm sorry you feel that way. I won't further elaborate since most of your questions are repetitive. I've already explained myself in my prior post as to my take on "short order." I don't mind people asking questions about a release. I mind the same one doing it over and over. I agree. In all instances, vote with your wallet!

Be sure to run the installer AFTER you have unzipped it...not from within the zip.

I have to admit...the replay mode there is a little hard to follow in some areas, and it's unclear what happens after the end there because you're right about to intersect. That said, I notice that you're coming into the intersection at a turn, and at a relatively steep degree angle. Have you tried capturing at a straight-and-level angle close to 20 degrees or so?

Do you have FMS selected as your nav source?

Hi Chris, Do you have an order number we can look into so I can address this concern? I surely don't want you to have issues with your order for this unreleased product! Chill out, my friend. Life will go on, and a release will be made. You're making a huge deal out of nothing at the moment. Some projects get announced years in advance. All things considered, we're still in short order from announcement.
