  1. Got it and replied! Thanks lis!
  2. Hi, Lis, I'm not aware of Gizmo affecting aircraft that don't utilize it (unless the aircraft use SASL). Gizmo is set to basically "decline" interaction or work if it knows not to with unauthorized aircraft. I would be willing to test this further, however, I'm near certain I've never seen something like you speak of happen with non-Gizmo compatible aircraft.
  3. Lis, The Sundowner does not utilize Gizmo. Iannik, The problem you are likely seeing is related to your GPU exhausting resources because of the large texture use on the Sundowner for detail. We are working through it to help alleviate this issue, and it will be sent out to all customers in a free patch in a short time from now.
  4. No, not at this time, Riccardo. When we are ready to show what you are seeking, it will be in the form of a video.
  5. As Nik above is pointing out to you, there is a feature list of the G1000 on the product page.
  6. Simon, Interesting review, indeed. There are some things I'd like to have you guys clarify as someone who has not purchased this aircraft. Perhaps Chip would know the answers: 1. Does this aircraft use any form of plug-in, or is it simply relying on the already available generics with modified bitmaps? This would be interesting to know, since there seems to be an emphasis on the complexity of the systems. 2. At the end of the article Chip stated: "Peter’s Airbus series have the BEST COCKPIT LIGHTING available in X-Plane." I'd be curious to know what others think of this comment when compared to 3D cockpits utilizing the 3D lighting available to developers. Something like Nils' BK117 in comparison. I would *think* the results of true 3D cockpits would be more immersive than that of a 2D panel using LIT textures like the A380. Again, I don't own the product, so I'm genuinely curious to know any info on the above. Thanks for sharing the review!
  7. Practically all of what you see is functional, yes. Javier utilizes the pilot view plug-in and Track IR for his flying, so I'm not sure a specific FOV would necessarily apply to the answer you're looking for aside from his standard setting (67).
  8. Hi, there, We have a select beta team, and to keep things under control will not be expanding this to a public beta. Thanks for your interest in the project!
  9. We're not going to be giving any release estimates. It may be sooner, it may be later.
  10. This is something we have discussed in the past, and for now, is not planned to happen in the immediate future. Past discussion is here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=650.0
  11. No, not at this time. We will have updates as soon as plausible. Hang in there.
  12. Hi, Riccardo, There is no review published at this time. You can view customer reviews on all of our products by hitting the Review key above the product gallery button on each page.
  13. He's speaking of being able to select a SID or STAR straight from the X-Plane nav database into the FMS, rather than having to enter waypoint by waypoint.
  14. Brad, X-Plane data does not contain SIDs or STARs information, so this would explain the lack of the feature. However, the x737 FMC, when used with the purchasable Navigraph data does work with SIDs and STARs. The included manual with the x737 FMC details this.
  15. Hi, there, Sorry for the late reply. The only info available on the project is located here in these forums. We do not anticipate releasing any inside info into how the FMS is developed, but one thing we can tell you is that the process is complex when it comes to getting all the systems tied in with an FMS such as one like the CRJ's. We do greatly appreciate your enthusiasm in the project, and can't wait to show you all the final product!
  16. Hey, Maxime, Great shots...looks like you're enjoying your new rig!
  17. Hi, guys, Thanks for the report. I've just opened up X-Plane to verify this, but cannot re-produce what is shown in the screenshot. The green and red both look the same on my aircraft. This is in X-Plane 9.53. Can you guys please specify your rendering setting (extreme, very high, etc), as well as what version of X-Plane you're on, and OS (I know Maxime is on a Mac)? Thanks!
  18. Hi, guys, This one is and has been on our list for inclusion since about day one. You'll see it eventually.
  19. Didn't forget them. I intentionally left them off so I could keep eyes elsewhere!
  20. Hi, all, New screenshots of Oahu have been posted here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php?topic=928.0
  21. As Oahu nears release, I have been doing test flights like those of NORCAL. It has been suggested that I post these shots, so I'm going to do so here. As I feel it's important to really get an understanding for the beauty of this scenery, I have elected to post full, non-cropped photos straight from X-Plane. As such, you'll need to click the links below to view the images! http://x-aviation.com/previews/screenshot_238.png http://x-aviation.com/previews/screenshot_239.png http://x-aviation.com/previews/screenshot_241.png Hope you guys enjoy!
  22. Hi, Riccardo, It's highly unlikely that we will have this feature for the FMC. Perhaps if we can do this in the future we will.
  23. Hi, Glow, One thing important to note: Many of the older screenshots in the NORCAL preview forum are from either the older version of NORCAL (never released and trashed in lieu of this one now) or pre-processed (which we would state in the topic description/body. Be aware of that! Many of those older images are higher contrast and not what will ship. The above, however, is what will ship. The following is also included in that: http://www.realscenery.com/flash_galleries/ca/norcal.html X-Plane can be tricky with ortho imagery. A lot of times the varying environment light can make certain times of day much different than others, but just to let you know...NORCAL pretty much seamlessly integrates in with the default scenery textures to the point the transition is nearly seamless. We ensured contrast and gamma was the same to make things a little easier, and you can play around with your gamma settings in sim to make adjustments globally. Long story short: After a year and a half of development, this product is done.
