  1. Quite a number of people commented on it from the main X-Pilot.com news release section. Specifically:
  2. Hello, All, As some of you may have noticed, X-Plane.org has released an update to the CRJ-200 for version 1.2. I have received a few questions as to how people can obtain this update from X-Aviation, so I am now creating a post here to make all aware of what is going on. We want your upgrade process to be as smooth and hassle free as possible, and it has been found after testing that the Windows version of the CRJ is having plug-in conflict issues with the new sound engine within. This causes a rather unpleasant experience, and until this gets fixed we do not want to cause customers to become disgruntled with a new update that does not work. We are working diligently to get a resolution to this issue! The X-Plane.org 1.2 version is also prone to this problem, however, being as it's already been released I believe those who purchased an update from there will have to live with this problem until it is resolved. Thanks for your continued patience and understanding as we continue to debug and fix this issue! We're certainly excited to get this new update out to all of you!
  3. That's looking really fantastic, Max!
  4. You can get it here: http://www.xpfr.org/?body=aero_accueil
  5. Hi, there, I wish I could provide a more solid solution, but I think this one is for the developers of the product at this point. Please utilize the REX forum on their website at: http://realenvironmentxtreme.com/
  6. Can you please post a screenshot of your Rendering Settings page within X-Plane?
  7. That's correct, Kesomir. Keep it up, Hampster! Thanks for sharing!
  8. It's plenty okay that it's posted, Leen. You are absolutely free to move to the next topic that garners your interest with X-Plane related content in it. As this topic pertains to flying and the people who play X-Plane enjoy flying or aviation, I can certainly see the link you choose not to see. Let's try and not be so rude. I've seen something similar from you in the past with regards to an Air France tribute from Oliver.

Time will certainly tell! There is a lot floating around....some say it is, some say it isn't!
  19. Hi, Brad, Can you confirm that you updated to the latest hotfix for XSquawkbox? It is not in the normal release just yet, but fixes a crash issue due to VATSIM changing their servers.
  20. Macello, Please try this again. My apologies!
  21. Marcello, Please see the following topic:
  22. Did you purchase this from X-Plane.org? This forum is for support of products from X-Aviation.com (that installer looks like the org installer). That said, in the spirit of assisting you and welcoming you to X-Pilot, I'll help you out. It appears your issue is in the library. Please do the following: 1. Go to your home folder. You can get to this by going to your desktop, then the menu in your toolbar that states "Go," then click "Home" 2. Press the following keys together: Command Shift G 3. Type in: Library 4. You'll now see a folder in there called "Frameworks." Open this folder 5. Delete the folders: QtCore.framework and QtGui.framework 6. Re-run your installer. Hope this helps, and welcome to X-Pilot. We'd certainly love to see you around X-Aviation too!
  23. Flight plans have nothing to do with manuals. Flight plans are carried out by airline dispatch. Pilots will still need to print out a flight release at the gate (small document prior to each flight, unique to each flight) prior to a flight. Flight plans are still entered into an FMC as normal. The only thing the iPad has to do with is eliminating the need to provide each pilot with 50lbs of paper to lug around every day.
  24. Because the paper is not going to be carried by the pilot. The paper manuals will now exist IN the aircraft, while the pilot will carry the iPad instead. It's significantly lighter.
