  1. Nice shots, dude!
  2. Sadly so, and I'm sorry for that! After years of doing tech support I've found this approach is easiest for both X-Aviation in the customer service department and you as customers. If you uninstall or lose/buy a new hard drive and need to re-install, attempting to use your old installer will result in you dealing with this again plus having to seek out the separate patch. This is just a whole bunch of less angst in the end for everyone! Additionally, in previous times it was common for folks to accidentally delete files or not install patches correctly. This method avoids that hassle entirely!
  3. If you're having issues with getting the autopilot engaged a fix has been released for this. Please see the following post:
  4. Okay! Fix is uploaded. You'll need to re-download to obtain it! To do so: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains the DC-3 purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "Douglas DC-3". Run the installer. It will uninstall your old install and replace with the new!
  5. Fix is currently being uploaded...will message back when complete!
  6. Okay, thanks! Let us know should you need any further assistance!
  7. Hi, Al, Yep, basically one in the same with not using the latest version! It happens and is totally expected amongst newer users here. Please don't hesitate to seek us out for further help should you need it! Enjoy!
  8. The aircraft comes with an installer that contains a version for X-Plane 9 or 10. Your selection is made within the installer. The X-Plane 10 version utilizes some added features for the new platform and will continue to be expanded upon in time.
  9. Cool video, Carlos!
  10. Yep, Gizmo and systems for the aircraft, failures, etc driven by it.
  11. With Philipp around I can assure you that you have the best of troubleshooting this. I love Linux but hate it at the same time as a user. Cases like these are precisely why from personal experience. God Bless all you guys with the patience!
  12. ROFLOL. Made my morning!
  13. No, not a problem. Your crash has nothing to do with that.
  14. Hello, Al, First, lets start with the basics... If you are using X-Plane 9 are you sure you are using version 9.70 (basically the last version of X-Plane 9)? If X-Plane 10 are you sure you are using the LATEST beta version? Also, you may want to re-install if you are in version 9. Perhaps you mistakenly have installed an XP 10 version of the product into X-Plane 9. Thanks for any info. We'll get it figured out! EDIT: Just one more thought! Aside from the above, the only other time I've seen this issue arise is when people do not run the installer and place it into an aircraft folder, then selecting the installer from within X-Plane as if it were an aircraft. I am not saying you have done this, but I figured it would be worth mention just for the fact others may mistakenly do this down the road! Gotta make sure to run the installer!
  15. Aren't they in Washington? Philipp...you're right...MS Flight cannot be surpassed! I see why you're headed that route!
  16. Hello, Pilots!, The Douglas DC-3 is now released! You may purchase the aircraft here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=84 Thanks to all for the compliments throughout the work in progress period, and we hope you enjoy the fruit of our efforts! Further discussions of this product may be had in the support section here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/forum/136-douglas-dc-3/
  17. The DC-3 is now released! You may purchase it here: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=84 Further discussions will now be had here: http://forums.x-pilo...6-douglas-dc-3/
  18. Hold up is not on Philipp's side, but X-Aviation's. Should be out very shortly while we compile the installer. This update will also contain some new documentation for all these new features and how to use them.
  19. Tom's mention of this is pertaining to his assigned jobs and not the whole team. Laminar is very hard at work making the next version almost always. As with any team, people were assigned specific tasks/jobs, and Tom has succeeded in his assigned role. Aside from that, I think we'll all be happy to see Tom back to work on his add-ons more than ever!
  20. Bernhard, Did you read post #434 posted just yesterday by Tom Kyler?
  21. Hey, Perry...where did you end up getting the chance to fly in one? Sounds fun! I've considered doing this over the last few months after development was going strong on this one but it's not so easy to find one to hop into in my neck of the woods!
  22. Hi, Derek, I'm not even about to get into such a silly argument with you. This will be your first, last, and final warning to discontinue any and all intentional pokes here. Any further will result in an immediate ban.
  23. That's most certainly your perogative, Derek. Each person has their own opinion and you are certainly entitled to yours just the same! It's not for everybody and we understand that. Enjoy your simming!
  24. Yes, though not the type you personally are used to. Records show you only have the MU-2, which uses old tech activation. This one will utilize a different form that is automated and handles multiple instances of activation without having to seek out help.
