  1. I understand, dron420, but we have absolutely no interest or even a thought at this point for 32-bit support. I do apologize for the inconvenience!
  2. That's a receipt, and not what I was looking for. Please re-read my reply.
  3. Technically shader tweaking is not condoned by Laminar and is considered a very unsafe move in a commercial product. We'll need to work out a more fail safe measure than this (or Laminar will, anyhow). Thanks for the compliments though!
  4. For starters, there's absolutely no activation of this product under your account. Can you please post the log.txt file in your X-Plane folder?
  5. Sounds like some form of permissions error on your system. Glad you got it sorted, even if in a roundabout way!
  6. IVAO really needs to get with the times. I have to be entirely honest with you though...in the last year of us releasing 64-bit addons I never once recall any customer complaining they could not use our products with IVAO. On the contrary, they were very, very vocal about XSB and VATSIM support. Given you are the first person I can recollect about this, I cannot agree with your assessment that there are as many holdbacks due to IVAO as you think.
  7. One Gizmo for all add-ons. Yes, the Saab is compatible.
  8. Well this has been very interesting... Our server came under very high load in the last hour for which appears to be an attempt at an attack. Our security measures in place on the server disabled services to prevent further attempts, and then restarted service. We monitored the situation as load became very high yet again (typical load averages 1 to 2), and reached above 40. The ip address connected to this high load 'attack' leads straight back to dpny, the original poster of this topic. To put this in shorter words, this got caught as a small-scale denial-of-service attack. Other than the interaction in this very topic, there has been no other correspondence with dpny. I question motives at this point. Needless to say, dpny has been banned.
  9. Thanks, Don. I was not aware that the bus speeds were limited in your configuration, which makes this a bit more believable for me then, and thus your performance is not typical for what an average windows user would experience vs your boot camp config. None the less, definitely interested in the extra data point!
  10. So I have just loaded up sim with following settings: CPU: i5 2500k GPU: GTX 680 4GB Resolution: 1920x1080 Trees, objects, and roads on full setting (extreme) Shadow set to overlay Atmospheric scattering to on Per Pixel to on HDR on 4x SSAA + FXAA 8x Anisotropc With the above settings and SkyMaxx at default settings I am at a consistent 24 fps With the above settings and the only thing changed was Rays turned off, I am at a consistent 33 fps I don't really consider the 670 to be a slouch compared to my 680, so I'm a little confused by your performance here.... For those of you curious, attached is an image showing the FPS with HDR and SkyMaxx on with settings as listed above... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/948823/Baron_58_1.png
  11. I was more curious if it made a difference. I was not suggesting you run it with HDR off. I caught that and edited prior to your post, but I don't think you caught it. What monitor resolution?
  12. Don, A few questions: 1. Did you dial rays all the way down in the UI? 2. Did you try with both HDR on and off? 3. This rendering settings image shows a load of 2GB...how much VRAM is on the 670 you have? Edit: sorry, I should have read...you have 4GB..
  13. Don, Can you tell us your rendering settings? We'd love to try and help you more than anything. If you're keen on uninstalling: 1. There's an uninstaller in: X-Plane/X-Aviation You may also just rerun the X-Plane updater. It will replace JUST the files that have been altered.
  14. Sure! Go here.
  15. Sorry, I didn't see this post! Okay, first thing you should do is open up the UI. Grab the manual here if you haven't. Please mess with your config settings. We purposefully put crepuscular rays at a relatively high level, which can be demanding on GPU. I would start with this one toned down, and adjust from there until you find your happy spot. There's a lot of options to get you where you want, but I can tell you without doubt from a cloud/sky to cloud/sky comparison minus the rays with default X-Plane, SkyMaxx wins on performance for me every single time.
  16. RealScenery products do not qualify. This is well known. All other products are free of charge for link re-activation, and always have been. This is nothing new for years now.
  17. Ah, yes, that was going to be the next suggestion. Glad you got it figured out!
  18. Hey, Geof, First, we're always happy to reset these downloads, so no worries there. Use the contact form on XA if you ever need that. As for the error you are receiving, I rarely see this one, but when I do it's on Windows and usually solved by using an alternate unzip solution. Let me know if that works out for you. Out of curiosity, what did you use to just unzip, and what are you running OS wise?
  19. SkyMaxx Pro has been released! Enjoy! That will conclude this topic.
  20. Captains, SkyMaxx Pro is now available in the store! Enjoy, and thanks for joining us in the pre-release party if you did!
  21. We have some other fish frying, but they'll get posted.
  22. We really appreciate the enthusiasm, Valentin. That said, life does go on, and this product WILL be here for you when you have the time to play with it if tomorrow does not fit into your plans. Maturity, guys. Exemplify it. We're excited, but here I am responding to you now instead of working...figures.
  23. Be smart, Darius. Do you need to be proven otherwise twice? Read more.
  24. You and 56 others in the scenery section of the store!
  25. He's saying he feels like since it's not out by 'today' as of RIGHT NOW he's predicting some form of a delay. The concept honestly cracks me up. So many folks wanting to know "WHEN", but then when we give a relatively short timespan of "when", complaints come in for another reason. You can't always win, ya know? Anyways...no delays. We're keeping to our word.
