Regardless of any bug, lack of use of throttle and assuming it will react in an autothrottle-like way is incorrect. The aircraft cannot continue to climb and increase speed if not enough power is provided.

You are not understanding the systems. The IAS button HOLDS current speed at the time the button is pressed. If you increase throttle, the pitch will increase to maintain that speed. The Saab 340 does NOT have autothrottle. You ARE to increase throttle after you have initiated climb.

You do realize that changing the speed bug has no effect on the IAS speed, right? Maybe you don't. The aircraft reacted exactly how it should have as you described it.

Issue with X-Plane and changes that cannot be worked around for the CRJ. This is covered in other topics already.

Yes, was a typo. Meant to say "your". External view has more polys than internal. X-Plane draws more objects when you go outside.

You're problem is likely not memory leak related. It's wait-for-Saab-update related to see if code optimizations implemented help you.
