  1. Upgrade complete! Things should feel a bit faster now. Enjoy!
  2. Hi Folks, Both X-Pilot and X-Aviation will be receiving new server/hardware upgrades starting in the next 24 hours to compensate for more growth. There will be a period of minimal downtime, but nothing large. This is just a quick heads up!
  3. Hi Brad, The flap sounds are there, and very, very faint just as in the real aircraft. Bear in mind also that the Saab sounds "know" where you are in the aircraft, and so if you're too far away from a spot the sound will be even more faded. Having flown the Saab 340 many, many times in the real world I can confirm that essentially no noise is the norm for flaps.
  4. Long time issue and something not slated to be fixed. Workarounds are here in other topics in this forum.
  5. All of this sounds like driver issues. Is this reproducible 100% of the time on your system?
  6. Not even close to what you're experiencing.
  7. Looks well polished, Pete! Congrats on making it to the end of the trail (almost)!
  8. That's correct. X-Plane only allows plugins to access some parts of the simulator, not all of them. Just because X-Plane has rain and can change it does NOT mean we can. It is something Laminar does not give access to for plugins to change.
  9. SDK = Software Development Kit And that's the problem. You want something that's technically not possible within the bounds of the X-Plane SDK. So, considering you aren't interested in how it works, I guess there's not much else to talk about with you. No, it's not joking with you because of your lack of english skills. They are obviously good enough to communicate. It is the fact that you don't like to learn why certain things are not implemented. Things that cannot be implemented or changed.
  10. True words from someone who understands nothing about the SDK. I think this discussion is done. Hard to have a conversation with yourself, isn't it John?
  11. X-Plane has always been this way for loading METARs. Nothing new to see here. You don't like to read, do you? Read the exact post you quoted. That's this Viper guy posting those things. SkyMaxx Pro has been out over a year. He's the only one to complain, but to answer bluntly, no it hasn't been adjusted and won't be due to limitations. This has already been addressed in this topic. Yes, this has been "solved".
  12. 0 to 40 is not even close to realistic. We aren't going to invest time in something like that.
  13. I don't really consider this a problem.
  14. Either way works.
  15. Just run the new installer.
  16. Please see this topic.
  17. LOL. There was a lot of irony in this.
  18. Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 2.1.1 update for SkyMaxx Pro. All customers who have purchased SkyMaxx Pro up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete instructions on how to obtain your update. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase SkyMaxx Pro from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 2.1.1 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains SkyMaxx Pro purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "SkyMaxx Pro". There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: What's New / Changed: Clouds viewed through transparent surfaces (cockpit glass, rotor blades, etc) will blend properly with terrain, if the model with transparency was properly modeled. Converted FSX aircraft for example may still have issues, but they would have the same problems with default clouds. 2.1.1's clouds should work as well as default clouds in this respect. The "overcast quality" setting will now affect stratus clouds as well.Stratus clouds are now allowed to be at ground levelStratus clouds with medium or high overcast quality will use soft particles for terrain blendingPerformance is improved when the sun is in viewLightning is less frequent, and thinner, in cumulonimbus clouds. As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.
  19. Are you talking about the animation of the shadows with moving clouds, or something else?
  20. As with anything else, it releases when it's ready.
  21. Page 194 of the systems manual.
  22. Sure there is, and the answer to this specific question is on page 123 of the Systems Manual. Manuals: X-Plane/Aircraft/X-Aviation/Saab 340A/Manuals
  23. I would think the manual covers this quite well.
  24. Yes, inside the plugin. SkyMaxx Pro does not require you to restart X-Plane to see any changes. It should just work after you click the "Apply" button in the SkyMaxx Pro settings menu.
  25. Clouds are drawn based on your cloud draw distance setting. You can play with that some. The manual is located in the SilverLining folder in your plugins folder.
