  1. They're not the one's trying to flame this thread, now are they? It was....until you went the extra mile to turn it into something else:
  2. You're grasping at straws here. Quite literally. My answer to this is simple: RTFM. Seriously, the manuals and tutorial videos included in this product provide this. But, again, you're really just trying to find something to argue about at this point, which is poor. I'm not attacking anyone at all. I am making a very clear stance that we do not suggest nor condone utilizing our software in non-stable operating systems. We have enough variables at play, and as soon as you go making the core of your operating system unstable, all bets are off for assistance. We have thousands of other customers UNLIKE you (meaning whomever installs a beta OS) who need our assistance, so upgrading our systems to a beta OS is not beneficial in any way whatsoever.
  3. To be very blunt: we do not WANT to condone people running our software in beta operating systems. There are many people who do not understand the consequences of this. This topic is very on point. People should not be doing this, and we're more than glad to state such a thing.
  4. Uh, what? And as an aside, what do you feel you learned from xplaneport in this topic?
  5. I don't really need to explain it. If you've got Sierra you'll have a non-working product which we will not support until Apple goes public release on the Gold Master.
  6. It definitely does. This has been well documented around here.
  7. No, that's just SkyMaxx telling you it can't find a valid license. Gizmo is not loading in Sierra.
  8. Believe it or not, what you expect is not necessarily realistic. Quite often these clouds will be on their own here. Florida (and much of the southeast) has some very interesting weather, especially in the summer and later parts of the year.
  9. Frank can answer the shadow issue. The second photo is as intended and is a matter of computing tradeoff. It's also not unrealistic in nature, though I'll concede that such shapes are not prevelant in every area of the world, so to you it may feel entirely unrealistic depending on where you're from. In Florida we see shapes like this quite often.
  10. Doh! Can't believe I didn't piece that together. Thanks, Frank! I was going under the assumption you were using 'Always' in RWC, Chris. You may want to set it to that in your non-beta version and then you'll have weather again!
  11. That's definitely the newest...and you're SURE you're checking the 'problematic' version? I'm honestly clueless after that. It's the only file that matters in this situation, and incredibly baffling that your other install isn't having such an issue. Where is X-Plane installed?
  12. They are definitely one in the same. What is the date on the following file: X-Plane/Resources/Plugins/Gizmo64.plugin/firmware/extentions/MAXX_RWC/MAXX_RWC.lua.aes ?
  13. This is indicative of you somehow still running old stuff. Try this: 1. Go into your X-Plane/resources/plugins folder and delete Gizmo64.plugin 2. Re-run the RWC installer Does that solve it?
  14. What? The IXEG aircraft has a custom reverse sound file. I don't really understand what you're saying here...
  15. Hi Richard, I haven't had a single report similar to this, so I'm not really sure what it could be. Maybe a firewall of some sort?
  16. In the same way I question the value of a lighted cabin at night from exterior view, when in reality it's not so realistic? My point here is not to insult you, but to make apparent that many people have different opinions. Incorrect assumptions. Please don't go trying to compare other people or groups to another, especially from another sim. Free time is something none of the guys definitely have, and when they do, it's going to better priorities. I used past tense, not present, so this question is way out of context. Trying to project other peoples failures onto this team is not fair of you to do, so please don't. More importantly, I'd encourage you to do some research as to who the people on this team are and you'll perhaps quickly realize they are not prone to leave things behind. There are methods within X-Plane to make it so such a cabin is not impacting resources when not in use/view. It's simply a matter of doing things right. Never mind the fact that the 737 is already an extremely good performer FPS wise. *for me (you). As I said, in due time. This group does not skimp on the details when it's time to get something done. The dedication to this product has not changed, and if promises were made (as they previously have been), they'll get done. Longish story short? The cabin lights will come proper when the cabin itself is done.
  17. Sounds like you don't have HDR enabled in the X-Plane rendering settings.
  18. Just trying to assess the issue. Do the following: 1. Go to: X-Plane/X-Aviation and delete the SkyMaxx Pro uninstaller file 2. Go to: X-Plane/Resources/plugins/ and delete the SilverLining folder Now re-run the version 3.3 update.
  19. Did you by chance remove SkyMaxx from your plugins folder at one point prior to this latest update?
  20. Michael, Seeing your other posts I'm starting to think you are on OS X Sierra. As it is in beta, it's prone to issues, and this is one of them. As has been documented in other areas of this forum, our software is not currently compatible with Sierra.
  21. Do not ever do this. Retail vs what you find online are different. You are bound to cause more problems doing so.
