  1. Go to the aircraft menu and move the CWS slider all to the right, it seems your joystick is sending noise even when you are not touching it and overriding AP. Moving the slider to the right will increase the area where the aircraft will ignore joystick inputs while on A/P engaged.
  2. GIT = goflight Interface Tool not the ixeg bird.
  3. GIT 1.0.4 fixes the issue, go and download it
  4. @g650flyer thanks a lot for taking the time for sharing all this and the level of detail.
  5. really nice. awaiting to donwload
  6. I do understand this. i was on the same boat, many years dreaming the pilots passing out inflight and being the hero. Overconfident simmer at its best. When i did my PPL on 52/72s and then the CPL on seneca i realized how far reality was. I still go to the school hangars over the weekends and keep smiling to myself by looking at me (new students) for their first flight explaining the instructors about their vast knowledge and training on the sim. That being said, i truly believe the simulator is an invaluable tool for training procedures, ifr, familiarize yourself with a cockpit/avionics layout, etc. etc. But teaching your brain/sensory to sustain and judge on the real thing, getting the feeling for a specific aircraft controls, ohh men... this takes practice with an instructor to save your ass and lot of flying time
  7. This is spot on and what i tried to explain above. No matter how genius you may be on an aircraft at your home flight simulator with a study level bird, flying the real thing to success also requires flying skills, the brain paralyzes for all the feedback coming which you are not trained for yet. You can not even monitor the IAS instrument that you perfectly know where to look at and what to do for achieving a safe climb. Problem is, you are simply overwhelmed for all of the feedback your brain/sensory are receiving never experienced at home. Now lets put this to a 737 jet that weights 50 times more, lands almost +2 times faster. You have to deal trust lag for real, ailerons feeling due to the hydraulics and you must be at least 5-7 secs average ahead of the aircraft to get it on the right attitude. There is no single chance to succed for a simmer with no real life flying skills.
  8. please attach the log file
  9. can you attach your xplane log.txt found on the xplane root folder?
  10. I am quite sure the developers will judge properly the effort to implement this and the priority on their developments plans. But forcing other people to behave as per your personal preferences, or denying this feature is available on simulations from 50 USD up to simulators that cost +2M USD is a wrong approach to me. There are many scenarios where you want start cold & dark but to skip alignment time. Best of luck on your PPL, flying is amazing.
  11. No there is not, turn around doesn't allow for cold and dark. Preparing the aircraft from cold & dark for a short flight you already know takes less than 3 minutes being ready to pushback. I.E. when you fly PE you already know all routes, procedures, what to set, etc. I do understand the people does not see any value on this. i just can tell you, all advanced simulations have this option available, this is for a good reason. You do not require it? that is just fine.
  12. No one is saying not to align to the IRS by having to turn those knobs when appropiate, you must align the IRS. The question is if it takes 10 seconds or 10 minutes. All levelD simulators have an option to skip this time, this is for a good reason! I call your post arguing for arguing. Non sense. You should understand some people may like to wait those 10 minutes other may not. Even the same person may want to simulate align times for a flight, and immediate alignment for another flight. This is a pretty fair request having an option to skip real time to align.
  13. As per you log file. 1. You are still loading plugins like Flywithlua, XGS. Please note disabling plugins is not the same than removing plugins. The only safe way not to load plugins for testing is removing them from the "/xplane 10/resources/plugins/" folder. That being said, the plugins you are loading doesn't look to be the problem to me. 2. It seems you have AI traffic enabled on xplane, and xplane is also trying to load the IXEG_737 as AI traffic and putting several alarms on the log file. Due to the IXEG bird complexity it could be the problem. I would suggest you to set AI traffic to 1 on xplane, just you! to test if the CTDs clears. hope this helps
  14. While on the real aircraft there is no way to skip the time it takes for the IRS system to align, it has to align, on a simulator you may want to skip this because it doesn't teach you anything special so ixeg is already considering including a feature on their menu wether you can to have realistic time or immediate alignment. We will have to wait a bit for this feature come in. But it is coming.
  15. Agree here. Watching this behavior "i think" i have identified 2 issues during cruise and engaging FLCH to initiate the descend. ISSUE 1 When you hit FLCH the aircraft starts retarding the throttles to idle while keeping itself leveled. This makes the aircraft to drop a few knots below present target speed. Then the aircraft dives the nose hard down to reach target seed reaching 6000 fpm rates. ISSUE 2 While the aircraft is heavily nose down 6000 fpm, it does not anticipate reaching the target speed which casuse the aircraft to actually overshoot the target speed, until it finally rises the nose up to stabilize the descend on target speed. It seems FLCH requires fine tuning to me
  16. Before 1.0.3 people was complaining the aircraft did not remember its state as left on the last flight. While remembering everything will take lot of coding, the developers tried for 1.0.3 for the aircraft to remember basic stuff like fuel and mcp status. It could be you you left the aircraft with no fuel, or a bug arise from this new feature and surely will be fixed. Quite hard to get everyone happy actually.
  17. this is how ti works on the real aircraft!
  18. it won't work if you are using the winglets
  19. It happened to me once, it was due to the copy/paste including a blank space at the end. If you tried to update, removing the space didn't work. You have to close the window and re-open plugin->gizmo->window->hotfix enter the code properly remove any space and then hit update hope this helps
  20. plain and simple, there is no chance at all that a simmer will be able to fly a real world jet for takeoff and landing without killing himself and others. just by sitting on the cabin, his brain/senses receiving massive amounts of feedback not trained for will paralyze him not being able to achieve 2 simple tasks like rolling centered and watching ias display. Surely an extreme simmer with serios simulation aircraft can learn and perform the procedures to get the jet up and running, even programing AP and the FMC mid flight. Going from A to B by itself? there is not the most minimal remote chance to achieve that. It is not about the aircraft systems by itself, it s about flying skills actually. You may be the master of formula 1 on the xbox, the first time you sit for real to drive a car your brain paralyzes and you make tons of mistakes. On a jet this is an immediate kill. This is not about knowing all the theories, is about your body and brain to have the proper training, feeling to execute it for real.
  21. this has been reported several times already. The developers know about it example
  22. I do not know how old are you but you do not go your office team mates asking how much they earn. this is impolite in the business world. Yes you can ask, but you shouldn't
  23. Apple and all public companies are required to make public their results/balances and everyone in the world has the right to know such information to invest on them or not. Asking a private business how many copies they sold could have very good intentions but unfortunately they response could harm them badly. So it is just fine they reserve their right not to make this information public the same way anyone could ask you about your family bank account statement, salary, etc. and you keep it private. Laminar doesn't make public how many xplane copues they have sold, no one makes this information public. Unless public companies as said above.
  24. i do not know what is going on here with the jetmax. I made many scripts for switches, buttons, axis and they always worked flawlessly for others and myself. I am also as of now running my lua script for the ixeg 737 with no issues. -yes, the script goes to FlyWithLua/Scripts folder -It shouldn't be necessary to unassign them first, but you can try, nothing to loose.
