I am running xp 10.30b5. I just tried to load an old replay that was made while i was running xp 10.25 and my system crashed to desktop showing up the warning you described (corrupted plane file or missing, i will open default plane) question: are you trying to load older replays? have you tried to save a new replay and then load it on the same version? i have no issues saving and loading replays made on the same version (while i was on 10.25 and now on 10.30), but i do realized that i am not able to load older replays. Not sure if it is a bug or an expected behavior due to the new versions not having back guards compatibility.

can you post your log file after those errors are displayed? maybe there is any clue in there! It should be in your main xplane folder i doesn´t seems like a replay issue, but a messed up installation or permissions issue.

have you verified your gpu drivers are the latest? starting 10.30 i have seen many people complaining about very low fps and solved when they updated their drivers. XP 10.30 has an opengl rework thus very sensitive to latest drivers. hope this helps

to uninstall: go to your main x-plane root directory, then x-aviation subdirectory, then uninstall skymaxx pro you have 3 activations available. I do understand that reinstalling over the same hardware doesn't count. But anyway you may check with them

Yes, 10.30b3 was released a few days ago. So, you are running under the new weather parsing algorithm which is not performing well yet. Wait for b4 in the next few days and it should be fixed.

Can you please describe a bit more your procedure for loading replays? what xp version? It works just fine to me: 1. Go to menu->file->save replay (put a name and save) 2. Go to menu->file->load replay (pick the one you just saved from the listing) note: as long as i understand, starting xp 10.30 you can not load a replay if you do not save it first

what xp version are you running on? starting 10.30 there is a new metar pharsing algorithm which is being tweaked so far. Many people filed up bug reports (including myself) that bad weather is not represented around the world specially when mid to heavy rain or snow is present. Last replay i received from LR a few days ago states to expect improvements for 10.30b4 coming soon.

I have no radio panels so i can not help on that. But it do have saitek throttle quadrant and it works flawlessly: 1. Throttle (black lever) gets mapped automatically 2. Conditions levers should be mapped manually to red and blue levers on the quadrant. To map them: go to menu->plugins->gizmo->toolbox You will fin there an icon that says joystick assignment. You clic start for left and right levers, you move your levers and they get mapped automatically. hope that helps

yes, you are right. I do flight at USA and haven't seen any problem so far, while trying a flight i.e. at southamerica is almost guaranteed there´s gonna be a parsing issue if you try an airport which is experiencing bad weather. I been following this issue for a while, problem increases when flying outside USA. The new algorithm seems not to like those reports Best course of action, submit a bug report

As per your metar file SBCT airport is under a severe rain storm +RA, it also has broken clouds at FL010 and OVERCAST ceiling at FL025. But xplane is misinterpreting the metar report and says the area has clear skies. You can confirm this on your first picture (grab real time weather), it was updated one minute ago and skies are clear after reading the metar! So, it is not a skymaxx problem, if xplane says clear skies there is no clouds to paint for skymaxx I suggest you to submit a bug report to laminar for they to take a look at it, as i said before 10.30 has a new metar parsing algorithm which is being tweaked You must attach your metar.rwx file and include your airport icao code on the problem description. Hi Douglas, I do run skymaxxpro + 10.30b3 having no compatibility problems at all. But, i do have clear skies (as many other people) quite often. Xplane 10.30 has a new metar weather report parsing algorithm which is still being tweaked so far leading into clear skies sometimes So, do you have clear skies due to skymapxx+10.30b3 issue? or do you have clear skies due to metar parsing issue leading into clear skies? Please: 1. Open localmap, clic over your airport code, a window will popup top-right having your airport frequencies and weather conditions. Do a screen capture and attach here. 2. Also, please attach the metar.rwx file at your xplane root directory I will check it out for you to understand what may be wrong.

There are two ways i have managed to reproduce your problem (no active route, so no lnav, vnav, anything else) hope any of them helps you: 1. you have entered the route properly, but you are missing a. to activate or then b. to excecute the route into the FMC (two step commit process) 2. you are missing to set FMC knob to AUTO (cold start it is set to left) EDIT: to remove emoticon when i first put "b )" as second step it was replaced by an emoticon

you can reset the trim to the take off position go to menu->settings->joystick & equipment a. if you want to assign the take off trim to a joystick button, then clic the tab "buttons adv" then over the right panel clic flight_controls->pitch_trim_takeoff, then clic the desired joystick button and you are done b. if you want to assign the take off trim to a key, then clic the tab "keys" then over the right panel clic add new key assignment, press the desired key, then over the right panel clic flight_controls->pitch_trim_takeoff to associate You can also assing trim_up and trim_down to joystick or keys. So no mather where you are looking at, clicking trip up or trim down works just like in real planes. Same procedure described above. Just look for pitch_trim_up or pitch_trim_down. I think there is no way to pre assign "pre set custom trim positions" to a button or a key. Maybe someone else can clarify. hope this helps

i do have the same issue. The sim pauses time to time for a second and emites a sound. It seems to be related while loading next titles in flight. Issues are very common while climbing and high altitudes. i do have a latest 2013 imac 27", 3.5 to 3.9hgz, 32g ram, gtx780 4g ddr5, SSD 1TB disk Problem does not occur while flying slow planes, i do have the problem while flying 777 worldliner. FPS are 45 to 49 when the problem occurs. There is a huge dip in fps, pauses for a second and then normalizes. regards

I have just installed the update, GREAT JOB i like this updated version a lot -performance seems to be noticeable improved -no crashes so far -visuals are much improved to me I have seen prerelease pictures for newer versions, cant wait. Congrats!!
