  1. Thanks Simon Yeah the strange lookin' part is on the tail because I didn't have draw per pixel lighting turned on
  2. Thanks Rush!
  3. A380 on APP at KJFK Grr My picture still looks like it doesn't have Anti Alias, yet my anti alias in game is at 16x, and my Nvidia control panel Anti Alias is at max quality, well whatever can't complain and say that it makes the sim look bad ;D Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  4. Well we got to give him credit though, I don't think it's easy making it to a million
  5. I saw this video and just had to post it on here. Of course he got all the questions previous to this one, but all I know is if that was my million dollar question I wouldn't think twice about my answer. Enjoy
  6. Very nice Lis! I really like the An24! Big heap of metal
  7. ;D ;D ;D Thanks Lis! I'll definitely try to join then!
  8. WOW! That looks wonderful! I'd offer my help but I'm not too talented at working with Aircrafts, sceneries are more my thing ;D It definitely looks great!
  9. I'd love that! I'd love to take up my Bell 206 for a flight, only problem is that Vatsim shows helicopters as 737s and I don't think there is an X-Plane CSL for a helicopter, and it makes it kind of strange seeing a 737 taking off vertically ;D
  10. Nice!! Are you going to release that repaint? I'd love to have it
  11. Thanks MD! Was gonna post them, but saw that you beat me to it! Yeah, they sure do look nice! That's why I now love tuesdays.... X-Plane tuesday! ;D

You won't get smitted, I'm happy to share tips when I have some, and I'm happy to receive tips when I need them basically during takeoff the first thing you learn in a real lesson (also applies in X-Plane) is you use rudder to keept straight during the start of the takeoff, when you start picking up speed use the yoke to maneuver left and right, during flight you use both yoke and pedals in unison. This explains it more clearly, http://www.ehow.com/how_2217055_make-turn-airplane.html same problem I have in class, I know how to do something but I suck at trying to explain how to do it ;D And on commercial aircrafts, at least most big ones ie 747,777 etc they use what's called a tiller which is basically a steering wheel for the nose gear, and on most big Acfs like A380,777,747 the rear wheels turn slightly in unison with the nosegears. Again I suck at explaining it so I'm sorry, but if anyone else wants to explain it more clearly? You need to set trim before takeoff as well, and set it to joystick commands (if you have a joystick) because you should use trim all throughout your flight except when flying on Autopilot. Hope this helps
  13. I'll be honest, I was running at about 19fps when I took the shot, of course that many polys can only be handled by a 16 core computer.... I can run almost the same amount with about 30 fps when I set world detail to high rather than default. My specs are Quad core q9400 @ 2.67GHz, 8.00 GBs DDR3 Ram, Nvidia 9500GT with 1GB Vram, and Windows 7 64 bit but the rest of the shots I was getting about 40 fps with rexclouds in a high quality addon like the Sundowner or 757. The Sundowner shot was taken over France with photoscenery, and custom built scenery I made myself, and the computer still gave me good fps results. The only thing I want to change about my set-up is my PSU, it's only 290Watts and my video card requires 300watts at least to run full power, problem is my computer is not custom built but it's a Lenovo thin case so a new PSU can't fit in there
  14. Thank you! and Yes those are REX clouds!

  16. I was flying over Paris for fun on a cold winter day in the A330 and the moon just happen to be there so I thought it would be nice to get a shot of it

  21. Thanks for the Update Review! I love reading your reviews Simon! Thanks!!
  22. It will (64bit) and win 7 fixes a lot of problems with vista, such as: shoutdown not shutting the machine but hibernating it and the mess vista made of the profile folders. Glad to hear it thanks Kesomir +1, USPS says it's out for delivery... I'm excited I should set a chair by my mailbox and just wait LOL ;D
  23. Yea I agree with just about everything said about the Karma, one thing though you might want to make a rant thread about it so we can keep this thread for Javier's video 8)
  24. I'm running a quad core with 2.66GHZ, and 8GB DDR3 Ram. Problem is, I'm running Vista 32 bit, and Vista 32 bit only uses 3GBs of your RAM So I've got 5 useless GBs of RAM.... Luckily I bought Windows 7 64bit! Hopefully it uses my 8GBs, should be arriving in the mail today!
  25. Great Update! Thanks Goran!
