  1. I had this problem with another aircraft and I ended up having to update the Gizmo application that runs with many of x-aviations products. I am using version 21.03.16.0101 WINDOWS (go to the x-plane plugins menu and select Gizmo64 -> About Gizmo

  2. The AIR COND master caution comes on while you are at a relatively high altitude and you bring your throttles back to flight idle. I believe the engines, at that point, are not providing enough pressurized bleed air to feed the system. To brighten the throttles up a bit to have the caution light extinguish.

One of the flight displays has the OAT - there is not a physical gauge.

  3. On the performance report I only get "Ramp Weight - Normal" everything else during the flight reports "Not Available" Is there something I am doing wrong?

Edit - just noticed I am using igoconnect 2.41.3 not .5 - I will update to see if that fixes the issue (also using the new version of the Saab - so I am certain this is it…)

Yeah, that's the technical explanation.  The point is the Heading Slave button DOES NOT sync the Autopilot Heading Bug to your current heading.

    Flux detector unit - fluxing...

  5. From the aircraft manual:

    2.2 Flux detector unit

Each system has one detector located in the wing to avoid magnetic disturbances. The detector unit consists of two coils oriented 90_ apart which sense the horizontal components (Cos and Sin) of the magnetic field. The coil system is kept horizontal by a fluid damped pendulum.

The output representing the direction of the mag- netic field is transferred to the computer where it is compensated for magnetic errors of the detector. The compensated signal slaves the heading in- formation with 1_ per minute and the result is thus magnetic heading. Each computer has a compen- sator card for adjustment of the magnetic error, which is normally set at the aircraft compass swing (maintenance).

The system also contains a quick heading slave function, which by means of a push button, slaves the magnetic heading related to present flux detec- tor readout. There are two HDG SLAVE buttons, one on each side, located underneath the EHSI:s.

  6. To add to this off topic theme, I have to agree with mjrhealth - for IFR flight I don't see the need to have the interior's of terminals modeled or even have subtle details of the airfield "true to life". I have not been to 99% of these airports in real life and wouldn't know if the tank farm has oblong or round tanks - or would care as I taxied by them.

The vast majority of news I hear released for MSFS 2020 is regarding the newest airfield (which I will see for a few moments as I taxi out, takeoff and climb to FL350) and I will never notice that the terminal B croissant shop has the sign misspelled (real life example of a discussion in Discord).

Add me in the "for me" column.

Interesting, I see you are not using Simheaven's X-Europe so that sort of invalidates my reply to Goran just now.

Edit: And what is even more intersting is that your route is very close to my route, so maybe it has to do with that particular area of the scenery. You use default X-plane scenery?

    Johan

Yes, all default there. I did have Globalforests installed which I suspected to be a problem, but ran without it installed and had the same issue. Must be some sort of 'Devil's Triangle' going on there that only affects the Saab!!! Although how default scenery can cause an aircraft to crash the sim must be something!!!
