A Macbook Pro 1,1. 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo. 2GB of RAM. 128MB of VRAM. Surprisingly, it can run pretty much everything except for products like the CRJ. You'll be in for a treat with your new rig!

They solder their GPU's to the motherboard because they want you to drop a ton of money on a new computer every time you feel the need to upgrade parts. Simon, that iMac with the 1GB card looks much better. That's pretty close to what I have as far as hardware goes. What rig do you have now?

+1 I have a 1GB card and even it can't handle maxed out settings too well. I thino you will be disappointed when V10 comes out with just a 512. Macs are great,.but why pay more money for weaker hardware as far as an XP rig goes?

I know you are set on a computer and I don't want to nag you, but I thought I would comment here because I went through the same thing a few months back. Honestly, I think I would have made a big mistake getting the iMac. With the PC, I have the ability to upgrade parts and I have a much larger display to run XP on. All for a lower price than the Mac equivalent. Just know that you are stuck with what you have with the iMac... Just my thoughts. Be sure to get the faster CPU though... Good luck on the new computer!

Simon, that's all I was getting at. Restrictions don't stop criminals from getting guns. After all, they are criminals and criminals don't care whether they have permits or not... I'm not totally sure what you were saying either, but oh well, that's a totally different conversation. The bottom line is; almost 100 are dead and many are lost. There's not much that could have been done to stop it...

Actually, banning guns made Australia's crime rate climb almost 50% in home invasions. I forget where I read that, but it makes sense if you think about it...

I just bought it! The flight model feels a lot like the 152, which I love! My only gripe is the lack of clarity in some of the cockpit text. Otherwise, excellent ACF...

Good for you! You have to settle down and just fly every now and then.

Don't bother with X-Hanger. You can't go wrong with Carenado's or 4Force's. Carenado's probably has a better flight model as of now, but a big update is fixing to come out for the 4Forces one which will have some flight model adjustments. My personal favorite is 4Forces. I would recommend that you wait until that one gets updated soon and then see the reviews on it.

Why does it even matter? It's just a switch. It'll seriously take about 10 seconds to get used to. I don't know why people love to pick away at every little thing a dev does...
