  5. @Kneed The MU-2 is a fixed-shaft turboprop with a Garrett TPE331 type turbine and is different from most turboprops that are split shaft/free turbine, the typical PT6 turboprops. Perhaps for this reason, you do not get used to the fact that there is no third lever that you call the mixture. If you want to know the difference between these two types of engines, you can read the attached article from the FAA manual. On the other hand, I recommend you faithfully follow the checklist published by the author. Doing this means getting rid of most of the problems you encounter when starting to learn to fly a plane, and it helps you understand why things are.   6. Hi, Fantastic! It has been perfect once again! I appreciate your collaborative attitude. The modification in the controls test seems optimal to me too. I hope that the pilots know how to appreciate this work and benefit from a well-done checklist. In my opinion, following a good checklist is the best way to learn to fly an airplane and to get the most out of it. Of course, this plane deserves it because it is full of great details, it is a marvel.

Yes, I had realized the need to adjust altimeters before takeoff and the pressure difference <6.0 Psi, but I ignored it until now by increasing the cabin pressure altitude, it's better that way. As I explained in my previous email, I have carried out a detailed review and I indicate below the corrections that I would make to your checklist and some observations. SPECIFICATIONS: - Max and Econ Speeds must be expressed in KTAS and not in KIAS. BEFORE STARTING: - Pilot Communications Door, it is a small window on the pilot's side that is perfectly simulated in this plane and is worth use it. You have a small error here in the text that it should be OFF instead of AUTO, however the dataref is fine. I have included all these suggestions in your checklist together with the additions that you have mentioned above, and I will send you the clist.txt privately for you to evaluate and, if you agree, include them in your next update, which I will appreciate, because you will also make them look better. You will be able to easily see the modifications that I have made because they are without color, that is, with the default color of the xchecklist. I await your comments. Regards,
  8. Hi, @Goofy and all, I have been using and reviewing your checklist and you have obviously proven to be the best specialist doing this type of checklist, my congratulations. It's something I already knew... Allow me now to specify some aspects that improve my previous checklist: - ATC call reminders are included - Specifies that the battery test should be done before/without connecting the GPU - The mention of the Panel Light test is included - The HSI (Att Button) test is also included, which I had not discovered existed - The SRL test is included - The need for FSB and No Smoke notices is indicated - The autopilot test is included in STBY - Remember the possibility of putting on headphones, which is very practical if you get tired of so much noise... - The procedure to use Continuous Ignition that you have applied is for me the correct one and the one that is used in other similar planes, although it is not the one described in the POH. - The cabin pressure check and adjustment is better than the one described in the POH, again. But above all, above all, the aesthetics, readability and the order of your checklist is very good and pleasant, just as you are used to. Well, after so many praises, in my next communication will come the "failures" and suggestions.
  9. No. A third position of switches to STOP engines can be found if you point the mouse cursor below them. An arrow pointing down will appear and you can stop the engine correctly.

Just yesterday I published the update of the checklist that I did a few months ago, as you can see: Maybe you didn't realize it or maybe your checklist is much better than mine and you've decided to publish yours for the good of the community. Or perhaps simply, you had been doing it for a long time and you did not want so much work to be wasted. In any case, it would have been desirable if you had contacted me to reach an agreement and thus one of the two of us would have saved a few hours of dedication. Anyway, you are the teacher and I am the student, so I will try your checklist and use the one that seems best to me. I encourage others to do so. Competition is always good, right?

  14. Hi, I’ve finished a flight with your mod acf and any issues has been observed. All was fine. Max speed was 275 Kt TAS at FL220. Load weight was 867 Kg and 730 Kg fuel weight Do you want me to recollect any specific data during next flights?

  17. Hi all, I’ve installed new Gizmo plugins like @Matchstick said and it works perfectly with Mac M1 processor without Rosetta, native ARM. No bugs observed at the moment. I suggest that plane creators include it!!! Many thanks @Matchstick!!!

  21. Hi, A new version 1.1 has been uploaded to https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/82809-checklist-for-mitsubishi-mu2-marquise-toga-simulations/ with minor changes. Some columns were too wide and now it is more aesthetic. On the other hand, the requirement described in the POH that the differential pressure in the cabin be zero before starting the approach always seemed exaggerated to me, since the approach charts can indicate initial altitudes much higher than the aerodrome elevation. Therefore, I have allowed myself to change the text to indicate "close to zero" instead of "equal to zero", placing an admitted pressure of up to 1.5 PSI which comes to suppose about 3000 feet AGL. I hope that these small changes are welcome and, again, I would appreciate your comments or suggestions. Regards, Manolo ELATES clist.txt
  22. Well, I don’t know if you have another kind of problem with your simulator or what, but I get between 10 to 25 knots taxiing speed, if is a reference for you. More than this I think is insane and “dangerous”. Simply move your Condition Lever at your convenience. Anyway, be careful do not enter in Reverse zone with throttle levers!! And, maybe, are you sure locks are releasing?? Have you try to follow exactly the checklist I have published? Do it, please, and tell me.
