I bought this plane back in 2017 and there is still no VNAV/PROG predictions, no HOLDs, incorrect VNAV behaviour. So in other words - no major update. I see no reason to pay the money either. Some say that some guys already managed to put out the most advanced aircraft ever created for any flight sim (CL60) but IXEG still has no HOLDs and proper VNAV.1 point

I suppose I should demonstrate some form of life. I'll have to get with Jan on that as our radar (best I recall) had most of the features of the real thing. As far as "coming out soon", here's what I'll say....and this is overdue for sure....and I'm not going to convince anyone to believe me or not on the timing. It will get looked at and updated at some point. As sure as this is my 20th year actively involved in X-Plane work, it will continue to be so. A year and a half ago, things changed for me when Laminar announced its new store initiative in Montreal. I took a job with Laminar to completely rewrite its developer documentation. This was a "look to the future" for both myself and X-Plane, at the cost of 'now'. Laminar are looking to embrace a future generation of developers and we need to have better learning materials to engage this generation to develop for X-Plane, so I'm that guy....thats for Laminar. For myself, I needed more stability and a cushion, as the add-on market for X-Plane is still too thin to have any kind of long term security. Taking on this work with Laminar has allowed me to close out all other obligations and stay in the X-Plane ecosystem for the foreseeable future. The 'problem' for my customers and X-Aviation thus far, is that the initial phase or work to revamp and deploy the documentation was/is huge. New developer web site, new manual formats, a new, interactive PlaneMaker manual, lots and lots of rewriting, new illustrations...etc....and that has taken a good while to develop and received all my focus to get to what we call the "initial deployment" of the docs out the door. That initial deploy is not terribly far off. After the initial deployment, I will settle into a more regular time schedule that will afford me the time to get back to my own work. It has been my effort over the last year to try and achieve a point where I can only work on X-Plane endeavors between now and my retirment......and there have been personal hurdles along the way that are neither anyone's concern or business, but real to me just the same. It is my intention to crack open the MU2 and 737 again in early October, to resume work on my 'X-Aviation' things. I have discussed this with X-Aviation also. Between now and then I am focused on getting an initial deployment of the new docs out the door for Laminar. We will look at the IXEG radar early on for sure. I want to remain developing for X-Plane fully and it is my firm belief that this path i've taken was the required path to do so, and I apologize for the silence and delays. -tkyler1 point

If you hear nothing from us, assume that the project is not abandoned but no work has been done on it that would warrant us sharing any progress info. If we abandon the project, we will announce this here - so if we don´t - you know it´s not abandoned.1 point

Enzian – The Legendary Austrian DC-3 A classic early Austrian Airlines livery, recreated for the LES DC-3 v2. Includes a second version – Enzian Olympic Games 1964 – featuring the red nose and special decal. Both variants come with .ini files for correct appearance in the LES DC-3 aircraft menu. Tested in X Plane 12. Hope you enjoy flying these birds as much as I enjoyed putting them together. And if it brings you joy in the sim – that’s already more than enough, no coffee donations needed! Feedback welcome. Installation Instructions: 1) Unzip the downloaded archive. 2) Copy the folder Austrian Airlines OE-LBD "Enzian" or the Austrian Airlines OE-LBD "Enzian" the Olympic Games 1964 folder from the livery folder into: X-Plane 12/Aircraft/X-Aviation/DC3/liveries/ 3) Copy the Austrian Airlines OE-LBD Enzian or the Austrian Airlines OE-LBD Enzian Olympic Games 1964.ini file into: X-Plane 12/Output/DC3/Classic & Modern !!! (yes, that file into both folders!) 4) Start X-Plane 12 and load the LES DC-3 v2. You can now select the livery in the aircraft menu.1 point -

LIVERY PAINTERS INFO: Use this livery package as guidance on how to structure your paints. You can start from this package, and change the file and names where is needed. INSTALLATION: Extract the zip file and you'll get 2 folders; Aircraft and Output. Drop those folders in X-Plane's root directory, and make sure to merge folders. About the livery: That's All, Brother is a Douglas C-47 Skytrain aircraft (the military version of the civilian DC-3) that led the formation of 800 others from which approximately 13,000 U.S. paratroopers jumped on D-Day, June 6, 1944, the beginning of the liberation of France in the last two years of World War II. After the war it was returned to the United States and sold to civilian owners, eventually falling victim to neglect until it was found in an Oshkosh, Wisconsin, boneyard in 2015, facing imminent disassembly to be converted into a modern turbine aircraft. It has since been restored and is part of the Commemorative Air Force. (source: Wikipedia)1 point
