Thanks to all who tried to help .I gave in and contacted Laminar tech suport and it turns out it was as easy as deleting the preferences directory from the Xplane11/output directory......and then re-building them of course! I guess I maybe had mutiple assignments for the throttle and speedbrake.1 point

That was the ‘simple’ answer I was looking for. Yes, the activation window was hidden beneath the second screen. All sorted now and the TBM is looking great again. Thanks for your help Ben. jim1 point
