  1. There are a lot of aerodynamics and physics at play during those crucial last few seconds. The pitch change needs to be fast, and the plane will need a few moments to decrease the sink rate - so yes, we call it a "break" where you do a fast and deliberate input. A lot of factors will affect the trajectory of the plane, and very few landings are really alike. We aim to fly the approach with Vref+5 (and wind correction), bleeding the speed of to Vref at touchdown. Its mostly a matter of repititve training at different conditions. Jan

  2. okernel. I am glad it worked. Please keep me in the loop if the problem persists. A new update will be coming soon with an option to download NOAA global winds data. Best.

  3. As important as it is to register an issue or a perceived issue it is just as important to retract a complaint about an issue. I am retracting my complaint regarding the autopilot not engaging. I reinstalled the CRJ 200 to XP11 Beta 2 and set up a KLAX to KDEN flight with an SMO waypoint (only 4 miles away I know) and had a fantastic roll and liftoff. After setting a heading to intercept just short of the SMO waypoint the autopilot locked on and all was right with the world. I accept full responsibility for 'pilot error'. The CRJ 200 is a fantastic model and I would suggest that anyone who loves XPlane 11 simming should add the XAviation CRJ 200 to their collection.

  4. why is that so important? I don't give any importance to likes neither here nor on fb... if XA didn't want this, they would probably cut off the option . why bring that up publicly, send him a PM... sounds a bit like elementary school tbh.
