'X-Life' Teaser Hello everyone. Check out the new teaser of DFW for X-Plane 10 & 11. This video showcases how the X-Life plugin by JARDesign works with the scenery to achieve spectacular AI traffic. The integration supports accurate placement of AI aircraft according to their size, a complete taxiway network and also parallel runway operations. DFW looks amazing! Great job and attention to detail. Hope you consider KLAS, KLAX, KPHX, or KMSP for a future project being as your airports look comparable to FSDT.

A funny thing happen on the way to the office......

I have signed and downloaded the app to give it a look. Those text files (under Profiles sub-folder) are internal parametrization files. Aircraft profiles/datarefs/custom commands mappings are not open for users to modify. They are hardcoded/compiled on the 'VAInterface.exe' binary (you can open this file via text editor, search for IXEG and you will see there). I can also confirm VA is using the incorrect datarefs for VS mapping thus the problem you see on the display. I put the correct dataref VA must use for VS display a few posts back on this thread. Correct datarefs & custom commands to use are documented on the aircraft included PDFs (under documentation folder, 2-xxx.pdf) I am sorry to say you are stuck to VA fixing the profiles and adding new profiles whenever you want to fly another bird Hope they have plans for releasing an SDK for third party people to develop on top of their hardware without requiring their VA interface and/or they redesign their VA interface for allowing users to create/modify custom profiles by themselves.

Thank you guys for your kind words. Fortunately my daughter is a good sleeper so after putting her to bed and spending the rest of the evening with my wife there's a daily slot of maybe 1 to 1,5 hours to work on the Airbus before I finally go to bed. There're already a few more panels ready since my last post so stay tuned for some more screenshots.

Sorry for the delayed answer. The project is definitely not dead it's just progressing at a slower pace at the moment. The reason for that is my newly born daughter who takes up nearly all of my and my wife's time. For those of you still interested in the project I attached a picture showing the current status of the overhead panel. Please feel free to leave a comment if you like. Take care Martin
