woweezowee Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 Can't buy REX (Mac), so my best guess is that this plane is my next purchase. Happily looking forward to it (and the Saab thereafter), only downside: It seems it is not included in FSE. Can someone please post the main specs of the sundowner so that I can have a look for comparable/matching planes? thx Quote
Goran_M Posted May 15, 2010 Author Report Posted May 15, 2010 Another quick update and answer to your question. The Sundowner is now finished. However, Murphy's Law has beaten us and Cameron is out of town and cannot add the Sundowner to the X-Aviation catalogue until he gets back. Sometime in the next few days. The closest match to the Sundowner would be (possibly) a Piper Archer or Bonanza A33.The manual which has been made for the Sundowner has all the Specifications necessary. woweezowee Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 so then... congratulations for finishing your first plane! I'm sure it's exciting and will buy it asap. Quote

Goran_M Posted May 15, 2010 Author Report Posted May 15, 2010 Thanks guys. It was a hard year, but I'm glad it's all finally coming together. Kesomir, somehow, I dont think Rapidshare would have been my first choice. I think I'll wait for Cameron to get back. Quote
Simmo W Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 Hi Goran, I'd like to join in the congratulations too, can't wait for Cameron to return... (Paris?). You were right about big surprises ahead, look at this week!Oh, and congrats in advance to Theo as well, can't wait to see those grubby switches up verrry close Quote
MatthewS Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 Congrats! It's the 3rd party developers like yourselves that will help raise XP to the next level and encourage more FS9/FSXers to jump on board! Quote
OlaHaldor Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 Congratulations, all of you involved. Unfortunately, I have to wait with the purchase until I have moved to the new apartment, hopefully early in June. Quote
Goran_M Posted May 20, 2010 Author Report Posted May 20, 2010 Cameron is back, obviously. He has to give the Sundowner a once over, make sure it's ok to add to the catalogue, and then it's out. Most likely it will be added in the next day or 2 if everything is ok.Goran Quote
MdMax Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 ;D Great news Goran ! Do you know if it will be compatible with Linux, or is it a Windows/Mac only product ? Quote
Goran_M Posted May 20, 2010 Author Report Posted May 20, 2010 ;D Great news Goran ! Do you know if it will be compatible with Linux, or is it a Windows/Mac only product ?Fortunately, it will be compatible with all 3 operating systems. Quote
LionKing Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 I read all topic but didn't found anything about the price. How much will it cost? Quote
Goran_M Posted May 20, 2010 Author Report Posted May 20, 2010 We can't give a final price as that is going to be discussed between Cameron, Theo and myself once it gets the OK, but yes, it will be in that range. Quote
Jacoba Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 I am confidently predicting the price will be somewhere between $1 dollar and the price of a good used Beech Sundowner! ;D Quote
Goran_M Posted May 25, 2010 Author Report Posted May 25, 2010 Many apologies. Certain factors during the last week have delayed the Sundowner release. Cameron was tied up with other issues that have been sorted out and the Sundowner had to be put aside for a few days.We also found a few bugs that we missed and sorted them out as well as adding something new (clickspots to hide the yokes). The Sundowner is being packaged into a new delivery system as I type this post. No Gizmo activation. Everything has been OK'd by Cameron and its definitely ready. It is compatible with Linux/Mac/Windows so it has to be packaged for each OS and should be up on the X-Aviation site within hours. For anyone who gets it, I welcome any feedback, comments, criticisms.Goran Quote
woweezowee Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 definetely getting it asap it's online and I'm on my Mac. Looking forward to the release! Quote
Goran_M Posted May 25, 2010 Author Report Posted May 25, 2010 We're making sure all the installers are working. There is an activation involved which literally takes about a minute. Similar to the Flight 1 wrapper (except it's just email and password for your X-Aviation account).I've tested it on my system (Windows). Linux is working and the Mac version is currently being tested.Won't be long now. Quote
AnonymousUser68 Posted May 25, 2010 Report Posted May 25, 2010 I cant wait to buy. I hope you get it out in the next 24 hours.Andy Quote
