don't remember, but I'd say no. Was "light and variable" at the starting and ending point of the trip.

And xplane usually corrects crosswinds only when flying with FMS/GPS. But I saw this bug often on other planes, too. there's a simple solution as far as I know (but that's all I know, not what the solution is).

EDIT: Also, the GPS would tell the corrected course as "TRK".

Definetaly a bug.

Very unusual.  I looked through the animations in the obj file and it all looks fine.

I'll do a few experiments with different keyframes and values and see what happens when I test it.

Re: the Beacon light.  I'll check on that as well sometime today.  I thought I added it.  If not, it's a 5 minute job to add it.

Just woke up and need my caffeine.

Ok, tried downloading her now, but keep getting a message 'the provided username and password does not match or you have not purchased this product'.

I've reset my pw and tried again, to no avail. I'm running the windoze installer after extracting with rar.

My order no. is #2544, you guys know my previous issues so I hope this can be resolved quick. Let me if I have to contact X aviation in another way?

Thanks for fixing it Goran, nice personal service. Don't forget to vote, you won't be able to claim the fine from the electoral office on your tax return!

I really enjoy the Duchess so far but is there a way in X-plane to change the viewpoint in VC to move closer to the instrument and gauges? Several instruments are difficult to read.

I fly using the latest iMac 21,5 with a resolution of 1920*1236 in full screen.

Mike

Go to your Render Settings under the settings menu in the sim.  About 2/3 the way down on the left, there is an option for FOV (Field of View).  Larger numbers increase the field of view (more of the cockpit is visible) while a lower FOV does the opposite making it look like you are closer to the panel.

I always use an FOV of 65 and modelled the panel around that figure making the HSI and VOR knobs accessible.

Alternately, if you want to zoom in or move forward to read the Barometer setting (I'm assuming that's the gauge you are having trouble seeing), go to VC mode (CTRL+O) and either use the + or - keys to zoom in and out or PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN keys to move forward and back in the cockpit.

I'm really impressed how clear to read the instruments are compared to the sundowner. But yeah, I'm starting to hate the hassle with x-plane zooming in and out and panning views for that - you have to be precise, which can be hard in a climb or when landing.

So no one answered, but I still like my idea:

Heading Bug bug (lol?) has been fixed.

I've contacted Cameron and a new file will be available very soon.  Hopefully in the next few hours.

thanks a lot!

Update already with the Beacon light switch? (that's not so important, actually).

Beacon light switch is easy.  Haven't done it yet.  But it will literally take 10 minutes to model, texture, keyframe, animate and export.  Cameron should have the relevant files up fairly soon.
