sizziano Posted November 17, 2015 Report Posted November 17, 2015 Hello guys. So I haven't flown the CRJ in a loong time. When I loaded it up today (after a fresh install) I was greeted by this: Any ideas? I do have C++ 2010. The Saab activated with no problems but the Jetsream is not prompting me either, but it doesn't have the X-Aviation watermarks. Log.txt Quote
Ben Russell Posted November 17, 2015 Report Posted November 17, 2015 Looks like you're trying to use 32bit CRJ in 64 bit X-Plane.. Quote
sizziano Posted November 17, 2015 Author Report Posted November 17, 2015 Looks like you're trying to use 32bit CRJ in 64 bit X-Plane.. Huh strange. I'll reinstall. Thanks Ben. Quote
sizziano Posted November 17, 2015 Author Report Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) Well just did another fresh reinstall after downloading the CRJ again and same problem. Note that while installing the C++ redistributable during the CRJ install I got an error saying there was a newer version already installed on my PC. No idea how since I had just uninstalled it. Log.txt Edit: Well CRJ installed properly this time (ran as administrator) but still nothing. Is the linked CRJ in my account just the 32-bit version then? Edited November 17, 2015 by sizziano Quote
sizziano Posted November 17, 2015 Author Report Posted November 17, 2015 Any other suggestions? Quote
Cameron Posted November 17, 2015 Report Posted November 17, 2015 Ben already told you...you're trying to load a 32-bit product in 64-bit. That won't work. You need to re-download the latest version of the CRJ. Quote
jettojig Posted November 17, 2015 Report Posted November 17, 2015 Are you sure your OS is 64-bit? no idea if it makes a difference but I'd assume you can't open a 64-bit app in a 32-bit OS. Quote

Cameron as I already mentioned I have reinstalled the CRJ twice from the download link provided to me on my account which as far as I know is the only place I can download it from. So if that is the 32-bit version it seems to be a problem on your end. And yes I have windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Quote

sizziano Posted November 17, 2015 Author Report Posted November 17, 2015 Did you at one time request that you get access to 32-bit as a download? Nope never (I can't even remember the last time I was on a 32-bit OS or XP). I did request for my downloads to be reset a while back but never actually used any of them once they where, hence finding out about this now. Quote
Cameron Posted November 19, 2015 Report Posted November 19, 2015 Nope. Time for you to submit a support ticket I guess. You're 100% trying to run a 32-bit version, which means whatever you're installing is not the latest (should be 1.5.3). Quote
