ztifevets Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) Aircraft installed and operated well initially but after upgrade of video card no gizmo toolbar visible and aircraft loads with all doors and hatches open. Aircraft re-installed without success, all other aircraft in X-Plane work fine, it appears to be a Gizmo plugin problem - any ideas?? Ben Russell Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 C:\Users/Steve/Desktop/X-Plane 10/Resources/plugins/Gizmo64.plugin/64/win.xpl : Error Code = 127 : The specified procedure could not be found. Plugin is corrupt. Have you tried re-installing the Saab package? Quote
ztifevets Posted September 8, 2015 Author Report Posted September 8, 2015 Yes I have, it still doesn't work, maybe the graphics card upgrade has corrupted something within X-Plane. If all else fails I will re-install X-Plane and start from scratch. Quote
ztifevets Posted September 9, 2015 Author Report Posted September 9, 2015 I have re-installed X-Plane 10.36, re-installed the Saab 340 and it still does not work - no Gizmo toolbar, unable to make any selections - used up the last of my 3 installation downloads. Is there any known conflicts with graphics cards as it worked perfectly until i replaced my original card an AMD Radeon HD6450 with an AMD Radeon HD6670. Help !! Quote
Ben Russell Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 Have you tried an older driver version? I'm guessing it might be some weird OpenGL thing... The error message doesn't give me much to go on and it's not a new machine, its a new GPU card, so... If an older driver doesn't help we're going to need you to submit an X-A support ticket so that we can assist you in detail. Mention this thread in your ticket and we can get your download counters reset too. Sorry I can't help get you going today. :| Quote
ztifevets Posted September 9, 2015 Author Report Posted September 9, 2015 The driver used when the card was changed came on the installation DVD which is probably an old driver, maybe a driver update might sort the problem ? Quote
Ben Russell Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 It's worth a try. It'll be easier than the detailed diagnostics that support will need you to run. Thanks for your patience. Quote
ztifevets Posted September 9, 2015 Author Report Posted September 9, 2015 There is no update for the original driver so it looks like the detailed diagnostics is the next step. Thanks for your suggestions. Quote
Ubbi Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) Sometimes it isn't a good idea to install X-Plane into your Desktop. Windows has some increased "safety-features" in this place.Mabey you move your X-Plane from "C:\Users/Steve/Desktop/X-Plane 10" to "C:\X-Plane 10". Mabey try the Saab install after this. ztifevets Posted September 12, 2015 Author Report Posted September 12, 2015 I might give that a try, thanks. Quote
Cameron Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 For completeness (and for anyone who stumbles on this topic in a search), this issue is and was solved by having the user install VS 2012 redistributable libs update 4 from Microsoft. 1 Quote
