Hello guys,

My sim (XP10.36, x64) stutters every 5 seconds ; after disabling all my plugins and re enabling them one by one, it appears SkyMaxx (2.1.1) is the issue

My specs are the following :

P67 Sabertooth w/ i5 2500k @stock (3,8 GHz in auto turbo mode IIRC)

ASUS GTX770 DC2, drivers vers. 337.88, 1920*1080

8 GB Corsair RAM

Win 7 x64 is on a 64 GB Crucial M4 SSD, X-P on a Samsung F3 500 GB.

Is there a known fix to this issue?

Thanks in advance

Chances are it's a much more simple problem going on like, you know, the NOAA plugin hammering the cloud settings too often.

Without more log data and information from OP it's impossible and pointless to guess.

Log.txt minimum.

Gizmo_Log.txt for bonus points.

Full PC and OS Specs for a triple point combo score. (and a screenshot of rendering settings page)

Disable thread optimization in the nvidia control panel, and see if this changes something. Try also to put the card in maximum performances instead of auto.

Thanks for the inputs guys.

I don't have the NOAA plugin ; both log files are attached under the post.

My settings :

(in french so here is a translation)

- compressed textures on, resolution on very high, fps unlocked

- trees filled in, objects tons, roads tons, cars none

- distance details high, airport details extremes, shadows 3D on acft, water low

- 3D relief, gritty textures, volumetric fog all on

- pixel per lightning, HDR, atmos. scattering all on

- 2x SSAA+FXAA, aniso. 8x

Thread optimization and maximum performance power mode did not solve unfortunately.

Thanks

Hit "reset" on your SkyMaxx Pro configuration screen, and see if that helps. Based on your log, it looks like you increased a few settings quite a bit, and you're using it with EFASS as well. Even high-end systems might not be able to run smoothly with that many clouds in the scene.
