Andyrooc Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 (edited) That last one would be funny if it wasn't the actual NZ airforce (the one with the two guys with plane outfits) Edited January 15, 2013 by Andyrooc Quote
Colin S Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 Yeah and about my temptation to think that you were sane... I had that temptation? Nope. That is truly one of the most bizarre uses of a bizarre machine xD Quote
Colin S Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 Unknown aircraft: "I'm f...ing bored" Tower Air Traffic Control: "Last aircraft transmitting, identify yourself immediately". Unknown aircraft: "I said I was f...ing bored, not f...ing stupid." 2 Quote
Colin S Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I don't know a better definition of "stupid" than thinking that the HD mesh by Mr. Fabian sucked... only because I forgot to create a subdirectory called "Earth nav data" wow if that doesn't give you a chuckle I don't know what will. Time to see the world in HD (and I thought I WAS before, lols) 1 Quote
Jordan P. Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Thought i should add something 3 Quote
Sgt R Lee Ermey Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) Speaking of choppers did you guys see t hat video of a guy who got the RC aircraft out of the tree? That was some damn good flying. Case you didnt see it \ Edited January 18, 2013 by Sgt R Lee Ermey 5 Quote
Colin S Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Alright - this one has a backstorySo today we're sitting in English class and it's getting boring - so my pal Jake (the pilot) whips out an Air Canada union magazine. Needless to say it was weird reading patriotic business stuff, but this was the best comic ever: I think it should say "X-Plane.org" forms not "pilot" forums. 2 Quote

Colin S Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 So I was just flying the alpha jet A around near Seattle and I popped in at Vancouver... what did I find... EXCUSE CIRCULAR TRAIN BRIDGE that is floating midair and is a loop, wtf are you doing? Quote
chris k Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 That's in the OSM data. Somebody drew the platform as 4 railroad lines. XP10 is simply interpreting the OSM data perfectly correctly. Whomever did that, did it wrong in the original data. Now, here's your chance to fix it. 1 Quote
Gjalp Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Fix it??? Have you never seen these before? You cant mess with reality Chris, why heck, I saw a 763 do a cart wheel at a terminal in XP10 just a few months ago.....must have been a new "evacuation" proceedure for disembarking passengers SLainte, AndyNZCH 2 Quote
Colin S Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 I think "Artificial Intelligence" is missing the intelligent component. That is a service road, sir. No, I don't care how much of a hurry you are in. You will take the same taxiway as everyone else. 3 Quote

Andyrooc Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Google spotted planes?....surely this is a little interesting: ...and when I was doing ZULS - Lhasa Gonggar, I found this... - how did they get the plane there? Quote
edwin Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) Come across this a couple of times in UK map. Think it must have been flying when the picture was taken and not Edited out properly & is trapped between layers?---thus seemingly 'under' the trees. Take into mind the amount of planes that were in the air during the lengthy Satellite photography process. Edited February 9, 2013 by edwin Quote
scubajuan_new Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 It has a shadow on the ground so I think it is sitting chillaxing under the trees Quote
edwin Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Possibly--but there again it could belong to an organisation of rampant Terrorist Pixies trying to get their own back on Walt Disney? Quote
