vzwiers Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 (edited) I purchased SMP last night, and registered at the same time. After downloading the zip file, I ran the install program and on the second screen it complained as follows: "Please provide your customer details to validate your purchase. "If you have not purchased this product the validation process will fail to recognise your details. "Please contact X-Aviation support if you feel there is an error in validating your purchase." I did contact X-Aviation, but I am too excited with SMP to wait for an answer (LOL). Has anyoe else expeienced this and what did you do to get it installed. Edited December 6, 2013 by vzwiers Quote
vzwiers Posted December 6, 2013 Author Report Posted December 6, 2013 I have managed to get a screen capture of the window where the message is given. Quote
Ben Russell Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 If you have a very large screen resolution and have increased the detault windows font size/scaling factors then it might be causing conflict with the installer layout. If applicable, reset the windows fonts to default size, run the installer.......... Quote
vzwiers Posted December 6, 2013 Author Report Posted December 6, 2013 Hi Ben You were spot on with that and I am embarrassed. LOL!! Thanks for pointing out that very thing i changed myself....... It's working and wow amazing is all i can say. Thanks for your help Quote
Ben Russell Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 Good to hear you have a working solution. At the end of the day it's the responsibility of the company that makes our installer tech'. We are at their mercy over this one. As "Very Large Displays" become more common they will doubtless make the upgrade so that their layout does not beak. Currently this is a rarely encountered problem for us so I'm guessing their feedback level is quite low. Thanks for letting us know you got this fixed. Quote
