Colin S Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) RESOLVED: I had to open them in Plane Maker 9, update to v9 airfoils, then open them in V10 Planemaker and update yet again to the latest airfoils. Please don't tell me it's because they are corrupt from retrieving them from a corrupt hard drive. These ones were the only things backed up on the network. XPFW 757s717s707 and many more XP9 aircraft are working just find in X-Plane 9 and won't work in X-Plane 10. Any suggestions? Edited January 31, 2013 by Colin S
ryancz Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Try updating the airfoils.Planemaker 10- open, then resave Should work
chris k Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) They're probably XP7 or XP8 aircraft. ( not XP9 ). I know the 757 is definitely an XP8 acft if you recently acquired it from XPFW. ^^ They even say 8.6 In big bold letters on the download graphic and the plane.png last time I checked. Ryan's remedy is correct. Edited January 31, 2013 by chris k
Claude D Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Did you try in plane maker : special : "Batch-Convert Aircraft to Latest Format"
Colin S Posted February 1, 2013 Author Report Posted February 1, 2013 Ok I have a new problem... how do you use the XPFW 757 Plugin in X-Plane 10? It's too old - is there a version of this that will allow the engines to not have their thrust reversers permanently deployed?
Orcair Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 As it has not been updated in ages someone would have to update the plugin... but it is copyrighted so for personal use only...
Carlos Garcia Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Just make the animation in the 757 Nacelles Obj. (No more thrust reversers permanently deployed)
