uwespeed Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 (edited) WED cant edit the terrain mesh.Yes, we ... er ....but I can (see here - push, push ).EDIT: nickster just updated VNLK today: http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=17817No criticism to nickster: as far as I understand, the runway seems to have the correct form only in XP9.I'm planning to do a correction for the mesh of Lukla for XP10, when I have more time as currently (due to the job). Maybe beginning of next year. But please don't nail me down to this .Apart from that .. YPAD looks very nice in the details. Edited November 22, 2012 by uwespeed Quote
Jim Kallinen Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Testing YPAD in 10.20b2 64 bit, looks awesome. Have some video of it to be processed. 1 Quote
chris k Posted November 23, 2012 Author Report Posted November 23, 2012 (edited) Ropeless has an affinity for golf courses....While Skyflyer has been busy stenciling his name in numerical graffiti all over the place...- CK. Edited November 23, 2012 by chris k 1 Quote

(and by the way, Happy Birthday!)A few more interim builds:Comin' along now..!This image is to try to be as accurate to Skyflyer's actual photo from the Airport from Saturday. P.S. Skyflyer's been busy doing some awesome work on the terminal as well. It's awesome having a "local man on the ground" with a nice camera, and knows how to use it =)- CK. pryoski Posted November 26, 2012 Report Posted November 26, 2012 (edited) This is bloomin brilliant! Looking forward to it, thanks so much.I don't suppose you'd consider YBBN, YBAF, YAMB, YTWB and YBOK as your next projects?Heck, I'll settle for the whole of Queensland & NSW (and you've already done YSSY .. so that's the hard bit out of the way) Edited November 26, 2012 by pryoski 1 Quote
chris k Posted November 26, 2012 Author Report Posted November 26, 2012 YBBN may be an interesting one to try. However, no promises at this point as to the next project. Since the majority of our team is in Australia, (and we can source some great orthoscenery with full distribution rights for Australia too), i'd hazard a guess we'd be staying in this continent mainly. However, I still have a hankering to fix up one of my olde Canadian airports which I think could use some orthophoto TLC. =)and scubajuan: "that beer when you come to Belgium got upgraded to beer and fries mate." - As long as there's some good frite sauce Mayo for those fries! =)- CK. 1 Quote

CngDelta757 Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 Really excellent work so far! I love your airport's attention to detail, although your YSSY has stock lego block buildings it still feels extremely real. This just ups the level of detail here at Adelaide! Cant wait! Quote
chris k Posted November 29, 2012 Author Report Posted November 29, 2012 (edited) Thanks Delta 57! Weve been able to uniquely model many of the buildings for YPAD - again, all due to our our "secret agent" on the ground with a nice camera. =)Just finishing up up the final HDR lighting: We're on track for an "Imminent" release - Hopefully you'll all be able to fly around it this weekend. =)- CK.
