Runway Clutter and various obstacles (build shots - the orthos are "too bright" in this build. Ropless has fixed the subsequently and are shown above.. so no complaints that "hey guys, is your grass glowing bright green for some reason?":

Hi

Having been invited by Chris to have a look at your latest project I just have to say that those images are insane, just what a beginner to the scenery development world needs.

I am in awe of this work.

HI Wycliffe! Welcome to X-Pilot.!

Thanks for the kudos. Yeah - we like to challenge ourselves. We had a steep learning curve since the beginning of this year when we all (collectively) started dabbling in WED. This is the third Airport we've done, and each time we learn new tips and tricks and build our knowledge.

Doesnt take long once you've done a small-ish airport and tried to add all these features into them. Ropeless started with YSCN, I did NZCH first. Seth has done KPDX. We then collectively worked on YSSY together as our first collaborative effort, and you can see the end result of that. =)

This time, we decided beforehand to concentrate and target a specific airport, and set our collective sights on YPAD in August. The results are starting to speak for themselves. Again, this is a cast of characters all working collaboratively, so don't be discouraged in your EGFF on your first attempt. Consider it a learning excercise for your NEXT Airport =)

The cast so far: (i.e. the dicplines and how we're sharing the workload):

Ropeless - Orthophoto Guru, ATC Taxi Flow master, and Photoshopping machine.

SkyFlyer - Photoshopping, 3D Signage and Modelling, as well as our local "man on the ground" with a nice telephoto zoom camera to get real-world shots.

Sethesus - 3D Modeller and Johnny-on-the-spot for custom objects. Give him a Photo - a 3D Object pops out the other end. =)

Chris K - WED Addict, Taxiway paver, scenery assembler, gardener.

And the rest of x-pilot.com - Support and Doritos..!

- Ck.

Wow! amazing.

Is this going to be a payware or a freeware?

I guess the birds are going to have a good hiding place in that grass. and you can put some of the Doritos in the grass so the birds don't go to the runway.

And a question to Chris since he is the WED addict, ... Have you taken a look at Lukla in XP10 (VNLK)? is there a way to fix the slope of the runway? There are some really sharp edges on the runway that makes it impossible to land without crashing, not even starting at the rwy is posible with engines running, the plane crashes on start.
