Debowing Posted Friday at 05:10 PM Report Posted Friday at 05:10 PM After updating to v 1.01, I am unable to engage Nose Wheel Steering. Where is the knob/lever located? Quote
Debowing Posted Friday at 05:27 PM Author Report Posted Friday at 05:27 PM I see now NWS is done by the rudder. Is there an option to do this by tiller as in version 1.00? Quote
Coop Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago You can revert to the prior gear handling by disabling the new custom interface via the settings.cfg file in the CJ aircraft directory -> plugins/cj_systems/settings. In that file, set the value of the line "use_custom_nose_steer" to 0. Quote

HugoVer350 Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago Imo during taxi, the updated NWS is really great. But on Take-off, I struggle to maintain control as the NWS gets very sensitive. The plane veers off to the side even with a very little rudder imput, and when trying to go back towards the centerline I go into PIO at nearly every take off. Is there a possibility to dampen / disconnect the NWS on take-off, or is it just a matter of fiding the best axis imput curve ? Quote

Every control system is going to behave differently, so there is some where the axis curve is better. The system will be tuned a bit more with v1.0.2 though. Quote
