EDDTlex Posted October 30 Report Posted October 30 Hey, for some reason, the struts of the IXEG are extremly "springy" in XP12. You can easily fix that by open the .acf file in planemaker, then go to "Standard" -> "Landing Gear" -> "constants" and uncheck both "use manual gear deflections" and "use manual damping constants". All constants shown will disappear and set to values guessed by planemaker. Then, of course, save the changes to the .acf file (make a backup first!). When you check the boxes again, the guessed values of planemaker will apear and you can play with them. Further reduce the damping constant of the nose gear to your liking. 2 Quote
manguras Posted November 15 Author Report Posted November 15 Despite the significant changes for compatibility with XP12, the airplane remains more pleasant to fly in the XP11. I have noticed many features lost in the Plus version such as the ground effect in flare, rigidity and a lot of sensitivity in taxi, engine parameters in the start sequence, etc... Litjan Posted November 28 Report Posted November 28 Hmm, I thought that we automatically "turned off" the cabin lights when the cockpit door is closed to avoid this effect (which - Cameron is right - can not be controlled otherwise by aircraft designers as X-Plane does not calculate shadowing by aircraft parts). Litjan Posted November 28 Report Posted November 28 I just doublechecked, indeed the light in the forward entry area does NOT turn off when the cockpit door closes and the camera is in the cockpit area - I will talk to Tom and see if we want to implement this (again).
