In your SR22 AIM.pdf on page 4-2 within Inadvertent Icing Encounter I find
Windshield Defrost ................ FULL OPEN
Where can I find that switch?

O. k. thanks, Coop.

On the right side of the ECS panel is a button, containing a repeat symbol (see picture).

What is its function? It seems to be modeled, but the lamp doesn’t switch on, when I do several trials with switches on the bolster panel.

That is the recirculation button for airflow. To enable that, the fan setting must be at max, temperature must be full-cool, and air conditioning must be on.

O. K. I can see the reaction of the lamp. But pls. bear with me; I have only Sim experience and don’t feel cold air at my feet –

So pls. have a look to the picture to ensure, if I have understood correctly.

Everything correct?

P. S.:

If I want to defrost the screen, I would turn the Cabin Heat to Hot, of course. But this view is only for my understanding.

Yes, those are labeled correctly. For the image of the windshield push button, which aircraft is that? On our SR22 G1000, you can see here that it actually is a push-button.

Relating to this topic, I was wondering if there are any plans to add some cabin environmental situation monitor like cabin temp, pax satisfaction or the like. You know, having to monitor and adjust the ECS controls and see cabin temperature. Also, based on flight dinamics pax cheer or scream :) Would add to the challenge. Next could be some economics for repairs, trips, aka. REP-like. Would be interesting.
