Matchstick
Just installing the updated version of the RSG G5 avionics and it got me wondering if there's any chance of a version somewhere down the line of the Mu-2 with support for this for people who want a bit of glass in the cockpit but don't want to go full G500 ? tkyler
I might could make that work. I see no technical reasons why not....just the development time. I'll keep it in the back of my mind as a work and if a time opportunity presents itself, I'll see about squeezing it in. If Garmin can design it to 'be an easy swap' with existing instruments....should be the same for me -tkyler Edited April 13, 2023 by tkyler
Cameron
While it could be done, I'll add that the G5 is not certified for such an aircraft type. It's intended and certified for small piston aircraft.
Matchstick
This is flight simming- I suspect 90% of what we do would be frowned up by one regulatory body or another

What you do as a simmer is on you though. As developers, we don't try to stray far away from reality since that's actually what most of the consumer market does desire. Of course, that varies by developer on some other stores though.

I can definitely appreciate that with the stock aircraft but I personally lean towards a little more latitude when it comes to optional system and add-ons - allowing people the option to choose to some extent what feels right for them to fly, whether that exactly matches the real world or not
