Hello, All,

As some of you may have noticed, X-Plane.org has released an update to the CRJ-200 for version 1.2. I have received a few questions as to how people can obtain this update from X-Aviation, so I am now creating a post here to make all aware of what is going on.

We want your upgrade process to be as smooth and hassle free as possible, and it has been found after testing that the Windows version of the CRJ is having plug-in conflict issues with the new sound engine within. This causes a rather unpleasant experience, and until this gets fixed we do not want to cause customers to become disgruntled with a new update that does not work. We are working diligently to get a resolution to this issue!

The X-Plane.org 1.2 version is also prone to this problem, however, being as it's already been released I believe those who purchased an update from there will have to live with this problem until it is resolved.

Thanks for your continued patience and understanding as we continue to debug and fix this issue! We're certainly excited to get this new update out to all of you!

Thanks for the update Cam. Do we need to have the 1.1 or 1.1.1 update already installed or can we go from v1.0 to 1.2? I never bothered to update mine with the problems 1.1 and 1.1.1 posed for Mac users. It didn't seem broke to me, so I didn't go and "fix" it...

1.1.1 Was a big update for Mac users. I would suggest you use it. As stable as your 1.0 may be, 1.1.1 is far more stable and has been for months!

That said, there will be no need to have any particular version installed when updating to 1.2. The updater will figure out what you have and work from there.

I am grateful that you are not releasing this with bugs, but just to clarify should I have already received an update email from you guys? or did you not send them out yet until its fixed? Either way I didn't receive one and wanted to make sure that I wasn't the only one!:)

For clarification:

We have not sent out any update and don't plan to until a resolution is found.

I realize this is a catch 22 for some, as X-Plane.org has released the update for their customers and we haven't, however, I feel it's important X-Aviation's customers get the respect of having this stuff thoroughly tested before hitting your digital shelves only to be surprised with problems.

I'll continue to keep people updated as much as possible here. We have pinpointed the source of the issue but do not have a definitive fix just yet.

Thanks so much for everyone's patience. We really do appreciate it!

Hello, Everyone,

This is an update:

We have made great progress in determining what the root cause of this issue is, and Laminar is also working with us on this. Part of this will put us in a better position for making your X-Plane 10 transition a bit more smooth.

We are all working feverishly to come up with a fix and we are very excited to get this out the door to all of you! So far initial tests of a fix have shown partial success, so we're evaluating final options at the moment.

More updates will be posted as they come.

Thank you all for your patience! Happy flying!
