Airbus
Something interesting to look at and read.http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/46823-paderborn-airport-for-xplane/
Cameron
Great to see them moving over and making good progress! The more support for X-Plane the better!
FlorianR
Funny, I was just checking the Aerosoft website today about possible X-Plane projects. Looks like a great start!
Leen de Jager
I am not surprised at all. They always go where the profit is.The profit is in the future of X-Plane.I`ll bet they would sell water in the Sahara, IF there were customers enough to make it profitable.Quiet simple , is`nt it?Leen de Jager
FlorianR
The future will be in X-Plane 10 simply because MS Flight wont be a flight simulator, but a game instead.
Leen de Jager
I am not sure about that.BUT.Assuming Aerosoft being a bit more informed about "Flight" than the average simmer ( they should be anyways) ,them turning over to X-Plane can be seen as a sign on the wall.As I said its all about money.I am in bizz to , I am not that surprised.Leen de Jager
MdMax
Hi all !I just found this in another Aerosoft topic about X-Plane 10:We will distribute the European version (different from the US version) and we are working very hard to create content for that great new sim.Internally we got some new images that just blow FSX out of the water in graphics, seriously exiting.http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/46965-aerosoft-x-plane-10/European version and US version of X-Plane 10 ? Does this mean I'll see only water for the rest of the world, or does this mean a global world scenery would mean at least 40 DVDs only for OpenStreetMap data ? YYZatcboy
I would be VERY surprised if X-Plane did not include the entire global scenery. My bet is that means that they will have a license to distribute X-Plane 10 (Sell it) to people in Europe. I expect that you can still buy from Laiminar or the .org in that case. (Though if you buy from Laminar they might have aerosoft ship it, for faster shipping times). Who knows. Even Cameron might be able to get austin to let him sell on XA. I can only imagine that the more people selling the better for austin, provided he does not get "Walmarted" again when it comes to price. MdMax
Hi all !Did you see the previews for the Aerosoft Robinson R22 for X-Plane ?http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php/topic/48175-robinson-r22-for-x-plane/
Cameron
X-Aviation will be selling X-Plane 10. Aerosoft will be handling European distribution, and the only difference will be the actual box content and graphics. The actual media will be the same on the US and European versions. There are still some unannounced items, and I don't wish to talk about them simply because everything is still under consideration.Hi all !Did you see the previews for the Aerosoft Robinson R22 for X-Plane ?http://forum.aerosof...22-for-x-plane/It's just being published by them, however, is the same one that's been shown off by Alfredo at the org for months now. Kesomir
Shame if Aerosoft have a monopoly on Euro distribution as I've always found their prices to be exaggerated.Good to know all the regions discs are identical.
MdMax
Monopoly on Euro distribution ? I hope not, because when they say "full support of X-Plane 10", it's only Windows & Mac.
OlaHaldor
I think I'll just buy my copy directly from Laminar like I did for XP9
woweezowee
Monopoly on Euro distribution ? I hope not, because when they say "full support of X-Plane 10", it's only Windows & Mac.That's only for that copter, from what I understand.I would purchase from aerosoft, and if just in order to show that their move is right and people are indeed interested in XP10 and upcoming sceneries from them. eaglewing7
I can only hope that Aerosoft does not only convert or rework the sceneries that they have created, but also converts the aircraft that they have made. It is not impossible to do, as Carenado has shown, and they have made a few planes that I would be quite interested in purchasing from them... bokepacha
I hope many things but I wish I never see that typical (sadly wrong) currency change 1$=1€ ...that sucks.
