MaidenFan
There was a thread over this that was "solved" but I'm still having trouble with it. I have removed C++ and installed it all over again. I have re-installed the CRJ multiple times, and I'm still getting this issue. I'm not sure what else there is to do. Using a "clean" copy of X-Plane hasn't worked either. I'm still not convinced that this isn't a CRJ issue. Is there anyone who has this problem besides Nova, who apparently fixed his?
Cameron
It's not a CRJ problem, Perry.
MaidenFan
It's not a CRJ problem, Perry. There has to be something causing this though...I've done everything I can think of...
Cameron
May come down to Windows update, or a mix of installed apps conflicting.Closed until Philipp can come around.
Japo32
Re-Open it again to let Nova post what he found to share with Perry, until Philipp comes again. Maybe it can help other users in future with same problem. But this is not a CRJ issue. It is a system-user issue.
Nova
Closing, opening, closing All i did, was uninstalling the last installed version of the C++ runtime and made a restart. When i did a flight yesterday, the issue came up again. But i figured out, that it's me not the CRJ. I'm pretty sure i always used only the left rowof buttons to enter my waypoints. But the left side is only for airways. Fixes/VORs/NDBsare giving an "invalid entry" error. Use the right side of buttons to enter single waypoints.I noticed this yesterday. I don't know why i switched to using the left side only, but i keptdoing it until Phillip made a route. And after that, although i told him i would make it as i didthe last few days, i made it right again. But didn't notice this until yesterday.Try it out, and report back. :-)Edit: Erhm... i just noticed that this would not explain why loaded flightplans had only the firstwaypoint shown only. So this wasn't the problem at all? Guess we have to wait for your result Perry.Edit 2:Ok i just noticed, that i cannot delete a waypoint on the FLPN page. It keeps saying "no entry allowed"when i click DEL and select a waypoint, no matter if i use the right or left side. Working as inteded,or bug? I cannot override a waypoint either. So i have to go to the LEGS page, and either override itthere, or delete it and enter it then in the FLPN page.Oh and Phillip, when you said "you have this strange line too, on the PFD" i told you it wouldbe, because i'm aligned to another airport. Remember, aligned at LSZH, but standing on EDDMfor testing the STAR issue. I got the line again. Aligned at LOWI, standing at LOWI, route to EDDM.He draws the line from LOWI to the current waypoint i'm browsing to through the LEGS page. MaidenFan
You saved me! I put the second point and entered it on the right. Damn manual, I should have reviewed it! Sorry for the trouble guys. I see what Javier was talking about when he thought he was finding bugs...

rbiten
Hi Javier, I have the same problem with DEL button... I dont know if it was designed to avoid changes in FLPN Page, but every time I try to clear (or delete) an fix or airway it shows me "No entry allowed"...When I try to delete or change wayponts in the LEGS page it works perfectly.Just my two cents! My system is Win7@64, geforce 570, C++ 2010 installed (all previous versions were removed).RegardsRafael

philipp
Great you got it working by reading the manual. It was just about the same with Nova - we tried it, and it worked right away. The next time I have a guy on the phone showing me a no-bug, this guy is going to owe me a beer! Philipp
