b1bmsgt Posted June 25, 2020 Report Posted June 25, 2020 Whenever I try to use the IXEG 737 it works fine for 5 minutes or so and then suddenly stops working and causes a CTD. Windows event viewer gives me this: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 6/25/2020 13:24:37 Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: DESKTOP-CHJEBOC Description: Faulting application name: X-Plane.exe, version: 11.0.50.23, time stamp: 0x5ee8d76f Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.18362.815, time stamp: 0xb89efff3 Exception code: 0xe24c4a04 Fault offset: 0x000000000003a799 Faulting process id: 0x2dd0 Faulting application start time: 0x01d64b11a63ca28e Faulting application path: J:\1 - A XPlane 11 Vulkan Test\X-Plane 11 Vulkan Test\X-Plane.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll Report Id: 33e384bf-a985-4869-81f4-36843548793d Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2020-06-25T17:24:37.733284200Z" /> <EventRecordID>73589</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>DESKTOP-CHJEBOC</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>X-Plane.exe</Data> <Data>11.0.50.23</Data> <Data>5ee8d76f</Data> <Data>KERNELBASE.dll</Data> <Data>10.0.18362.815</Data> <Data>b89efff3</Data> <Data>e24c4a04</Data> <Data>000000000003a799</Data> <Data>2dd0</Data> <Data>01d64b11a63ca28e</Data> <Data>J:\1 - A XPlane 11 Vulkan Test\X-Plane 11 Vulkan Test\X-Plane.exe</Data> <Data>C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll</Data> <Data>33e384bf-a985-4869-81f4-36843548793d</Data> <Data> </Data> <Data> </Data> </EventData> </Event> Does anyone have experience with this? tkyler Posted June 26, 2020 Report Posted June 26, 2020 how repeatable is the event. Does it happen at exactly the same time? or about the same time? etc. Also, if you can repeat it and then post the X-Plane log file (Log.txt in the X-Plane root folder) that would be a good data point also. -tkyler Quote
b1bmsgt Posted June 30, 2020 Author Report Posted June 30, 2020 Hi, thanks for the reply! It happens every time I try to use the aircraft. Usually happens as I'm setting up the cockpit. Not sure if it happens at the same time all the time. Never happens with anything else. I'll try it again and post the log file. (forgot all about it...) Russ Quote
b1bmsgt Posted June 30, 2020 Author Report Posted June 30, 2020 Well, that didn't take long... X-Plane stopped working just after Better Pushback asked me to set the parking break and as engine number 1 was almost finished spooling up. When it happens, everything stops moving, the sound stops, and a few seconds later you get the window stating that X-Plane has stopped working. Attached please find the log.txt file. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer. I really love the aircraft and would like to fly it, but I've never been able to get it off the ground... Russ Log.txt Quote
b1bmsgt Posted June 30, 2020 Author Report Posted June 30, 2020 By the way, I spent a few weeks in San Antonio back in 1977... Lackland AFB, to be exact! Never made it to the Alamo... Russ Quote
b1bmsgt Posted July 1, 2020 Author Report Posted July 1, 2020 (edited) Just downloaded Beta 13 and thought I'd try it. Also tried it without using Better Pushback. Once again the sim died as the number 1 engine had almost stabilized at idle. Don't know if that's significant or not... Attached is the new log.txt. Russ Log.txt Edited July 2, 2020 by b1bmsgt Quote
Cameron Posted July 5, 2020 Report Posted July 5, 2020 You're asking for support of a commercial product in a general discussion forum. It's probably not helping the exposure of your issue for the devs who need to see it. There's an IXEG support forum here. You should use it. Quote
