Is it a feature that, even when i left the switch on Bat, the next time i start the Sim the switch is on Left Gen. 

And where are the Switch supposed to be during flight? Bat or L/R Gen

I agree, the persistance doesn't seem to save the state of that switch.

I usually leave the switch on batt, since a drain of the bat tells me that something is wrong. From time to time, I check the gens, but I always return it to Bat
