Japo32 Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 Gimp has no virus... it is a really nice program. And it the best one to paint for free. Gimp is 2D as Blender is for 3D.http://www.gimp.org/ Quote
KAPTEJNLN Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 it was also the page i was on until i start download then the virus protection started to alert me Quote
Japo32 Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 maybe a false alarm.. because Gimp is well known program. Report to them or see inside their forums about it. But strange.. very strange it would have virus inside. Quote
KAPTEJNLN Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 well maybe false alarm. or a hacker attack, but tryeid again as i trused you, have scaned the files and diden´t finde any thing whit the virus program. so thanks hope i could get used to it but looks a bit like photoshop. Quote

MaidenFan Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 I know this wouldn't be realistic because AA only uses the -700's, but would someone be interested in making an American Eagle/American Airlines livery? A Southwest would be cool too... Quote
KAPTEJNLN Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 i miss the old mærsk livery, have tryeid to paint but its not easy, as i have some problems to keep the same colur as seen on the picture Quote
karingka Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 I use Gimp as well. Excellent tool for free. Nice livery's, by the way! Quote

t20y Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 Hi everyone, nice work on all the liveries. I downloaded GIMP and had a go on a JAL livery in the last couple of days. Now All i need to do is the LIT texture and for the life of me can't seem to work out how everyone is making them. If someone can point me in the right directionit would be much apprieciated. Regards t20y. Quote
ssanchez Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 I need some guidance from experienced painters. I did my first X-Plane paint and I really don't like it...I cannot get the colors to look right in my plane. The reds look like pinks! and then the doors template looks darker than the rest of the templates...Help please Quote
